You choose between two experiences. A contact card lets the person review your details and choose to save them to their phone. A website card opens the website you created with QREasy, so they can explore your work, services and contact options.
First, create and publish your website in QREasy. With Lite SME or Business, use the website’s Wallet option to generate a card and add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Show its QR code when you meet someone. Their scan opens your QREasy website.
The supported website option connects your Wallet card to a website created with QREasy. To send people straight to an existing website elsewhere, use the separate Website QR tool. You can still include an ordinary website address in your contact details; it is a contact field, rather than the place the QR opens.Create a Website QR
They do not need a QREasy app or account. They point a compatible phone camera or QR reader at your code and tap the prompt. A website opens in their browser. For a contact card, they review your details and choose whether to save them. The prompts vary by phone.
It is a small website you build from a QREasy template. For example, a photographer can show photographs and booking links, or a local business can list its services and contact details. Your first one-page website is free. Paid plans offer more pages and templates.
You can create contact cards for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, your first one-page website, and unlimited static QR codes. The Free plan also includes one QR with an editable destination and seven days of scan and visitor history. Connecting a QREasy website to a Wallet card requires Lite SME or Business.
You can edit your published QREasy website and keep its address, so its Wallet QR still opens the updated site. A static contact QR keeps the details it was made with; create a new code when those details change. If you change the details displayed on a Wallet card, generate and save a replacement card too.
You can display a Wallet card that is already saved on your phone without internet. A compatible QR reader can read contact details embedded in a static contact QR offline. Opening a QREasy website needs internet, even when its QR is on a saved Wallet card.
A basic static contact QR is made in your browser and stores your details inside the code. A temporary draft may stay in your browser to help you resume after sign-in. Creating a Wallet card sends its details to our servers for processing; Google Wallet also uses Google’s service. They create separate codes for specific tasks: opening a website, joining Wi-Fi, viewing a document, starting a message or making a call. They do not change the two Wallet card options.
