    Preparation and Recovery FAQ

What should I bring to an appointment?

Bring current glasses, contact lens details, medication lists, previous eye reports, and any scans or referral letters you already have.

Can I drive after dilating drops?

Dilating drops can blur vision and increase light sensitivity for several hours. Please plan transport if drops may be needed.

    How long is cataract recovery?

Many people notice improvement quickly, but recovery and medication schedules vary. Your surgeon or clinic will explain the plan that applies to you.

Is this page for urgent symptoms?

No. Sudden vision loss, severe pain, new flashes, or a curtain-like shadow should be treated as urgent and assessed through emergency care.
