What the Business Card Website Includes
The Business Card template is designed to put contact information in one place. Its default content contains one page with Save Contact, Contact and Links sections. It does not arrive with a complete services area. Consultants can still describe their offer, experience and working method by adding ordinary Text sections and a Gallery for photographs.
QREasy hosts editable small websites. Each published site has a fixed public address (URL) that stays the same while the content behind it is updated. You can return to the editable site, change supported sections and publish again; the same address can then display the revised content. A visitor still needs an internet connection to open the hosted page.
A Wallet card is not the same thing as the website. With a contact Wallet card, recipients can review and save contact details. With a website-linked card, its QR encodes the site address, so scanning opens that site in the browser. The site is not displayed as a mini website inside Wallet, and Google Wallet can also provide a Visit Page link.
- Website: one hosted address for contact details, services, images and links.
- Contact Wallet card: lets recipients review and save your contact information.
- Website-linked Wallet card: opens the QREasy website in the phone browser and requires Lite SME or Business.
Create, Personalize, and Publish in QREasy
Start from the template that matches the job. In the template library, browse the website templates and compare how each default page is organized before you begin editing. The Business Card option is available on Free.
Open the Business Card option, add only the sections your visitors need, fill each one, arrange the page and publish. Keep the first version focused: a clear introduction, the right contact actions and a small selection of images are usually more useful than an overloaded page.
After publication, check the site in a browser and update content when details change. Because the address remains the same, you do not need to create a new website merely because you corrected a sentence, replaced a photograph or changed the order of sections. If a major new topic needs its own address, create a separate site within your plan allowance.
- Defaults: Save Contact, Contact and Links.
- Useful free additions: Text for services, a biography or a process, plus Gallery for work samples.
- Other available free section types include Products, Social and Events; check the current section list before adding one.
- Premium blocks such as Service Grid, Profile, Testimonials, Video, editorial layouts and image sliders require Lite SME or Business for publication.
- Drafting rule: a premium section can be prepared before upgrading, but it cannot be published on the Free plan.
How the QR Code Stays Useful
Once the site is published, create the QR code that points to its address. Use the QR code generators to choose the type that fits your workflow, then test the destination before placing the code on a card or handout.
A static URL QR stores one fixed web address. You can change the hosted page, and even replace a PDF at that same address, without changing or reprinting the QR. You need a new static QR only when the encoded address itself changes. A static URL QR is therefore different from a QR that embeds fixed vCard contact data.
Dynamic QR uses a managed redirect, so its destination can be changed under the plan limits. A hosted website does not need a dynamic QR just to edit its content: a static URL code is enough if the site address stays the same. Neither format guarantees that every device will scan it, so test the final card on more than one phone before distributing it.
- Static URL QR: the encoded address stays fixed, while hosted content at that address may change.
- Dynamic QR: a managed redirect controls the destination, subject to plan limits.
- Editing test: publish an update and reopen the original address to confirm that it displays the new version.
- Distribution test: scan from the final printed card or screen on a second phone and try the resulting contact action.
Choose a Plan for the Website and Wallet
Contact Wallet cards are included with Free. Linking a Wallet card to a QREasy website is different: that journey requires Lite SME or Business. Compare the current allowances on the QREasy plans page before choosing, especially if you need more sites, pages, dynamic QR codes or longer analytics history.
For a single one-page presentation and a contact card, Free is enough. Choose Lite SME when you want a website-linked Wallet card and more publishing capacity, or Business when you manage multiple sites and need the larger website and dynamic-code allowances. The rates below are monthly and annual prices in euros.
If your main goal is a contact card, start with Free. If the card must open your website, budget for Lite SME or Business from the outset. Confirm the features your workflow needs in the plan details rather than assuming a free website also unlocks website-linked Wallet distribution.
- Free: 1 website, up to 1 page, 1 dynamic QR code, unlimited static QR codes and 7 days of analytics history. Contact Wallet cards are included; website-linked Wallet cards are not. EUR 0.00 monthly or annually.
- Lite SME: 3 websites, up to 4 pages each, 50 dynamic QR codes, unlimited static QR codes and 90 days of analytics history. Website-linked Wallet cards are included. EUR 2.99 monthly or EUR 28.70 annually.
- Business: 33 websites, up to 10 pages each, 357 dynamic QR codes, unlimited static QR codes and 90 days of analytics history. Website-linked Wallet cards are included. EUR 9.99 monthly or EUR 95.90 annually.
Connect Contacts and Check Before Publishing
Build the contact path around actions the business actually supports. QREasy templates such as the restaurant and beauty ones can use phone, email, WhatsApp or external booking links, and these actions open the relevant external channel. A message or call request is an enquiry, not a confirmed reservation; an external booking provider may confirm bookings under its own rules. There is no native QREasy enquiry inbox or verified built-in contact form.
If your business already uses a separate contact form, scheduler, payment page or ordering service, you may link to that provider, but QREasy does not supply or operate it. The same distinction applies to consultants: they can offer scheduling, payments or other services through their own processes without claiming those capabilities are built into the QREasy site. - Contact details: check names, phone numbers, email addresses and links before publishing.
- Mobile check: open the site without relying on desktop-only tools and confirm that each tap works.
- Scan check: test the QR from the final card or screen on a second phone.
- Content check: confirm that services, images and the intended contact action match your current offer.
- Expectation check: label a booking link as a booking route and a message link as an enquiry without promising automatic confirmation.
