What the Creator template is for
Creator brings your content and favourite links together on a one-page website. It can work as a personal introduction, portfolio, consultancy profile, service summary or compact showcase. Use it when visitors need to understand one offer and choose a next step, not when they need accounts, a large catalogue or a multi-stage transaction. You can preview the Creator template before building; its sample content and businesses are fictional demonstrations. Compare the website templates if a different starting layout suits the project better.
The free section types include Restaurant menu, Links, Products, Gallery, Text, Contact, Social, Save Contact and Events. These are choices you add and arrange, not automatic business functions. A free site can describe services and past work in ordinary Text sections and display photographs in Gallery. That does not make premium Service Grid, Profile or Editorial Image layouts free.
- Strong fits: a consultant profile, selected creative work, a studio service page or a hub for useful links.
- Keep one main action visible, such as viewing a project, sending an email or choosing a service.
- Plan for mobile scanning; visitors need an internet connection to open the hosted site.
Build and publish the site step by step
First, choose Creator and sketch the page order: introduction, offer, examples, links and contact route. Add supported sections for text, images, service descriptions, contact details and links, then arrange them so the most important information comes first. Replace sample wording with concrete language, add relevant images and give every link a clear label that matches its destination.
Preview the page on a phone before publishing, since many visitors will arrive from a QR code. Check text wrapping, image crops, button wording and the order of contact actions. Publish when the page is ready, then use the editor to revise copy, replace images, add or remove links or introduce another free section. The same website address can display the updated content.
- Draft short headings before writing full sections, so visitors can scan the page quickly.
- Use Gallery for a curated set of photographs or work samples rather than an unstructured dump.
- Test every contact and external link, then publish and open the live address in a private browser window.
When Free ends and a paid plan helps
The Free allowance covers one website, up to one page, one dynamic QR code, unlimited static QR codes and seven days of analytics history. Its monthly and annual price is EUR 0.00. Contact Wallet cards are included, but a Wallet card linked to a website requires Lite SME or Business.
Premium sections can be drafted before upgrading, but they cannot be published on Free. Lite SME and Business add access to those section types, website-linked Wallet cards and longer analytics history. Editorial layouts and image sliders also require a paid plan. A QR code that points to the website opens it in the phone browser; a website-linked Wallet card, by contrast, opens the site inside Wallet. Review the current QREasy plans before choosing a plan.
- Lite SME: EUR 2.99 monthly or EUR 28.70 annually; 3 websites, up to 4 pages each, 50 dynamic QR codes, unlimited static QR codes and 90 days of analytics history.
- Business: EUR 9.99 monthly or EUR 95.90 annually; 33 websites, up to 10 pages each, 357 dynamic QR codes, unlimited static QR codes and 90 days of analytics history.
- Premium publishing types: music, video, channels, downloads, CTA, image, premium gallery, Service Grid, FAQ, publications, credibility strip, locations, stats strip, before-and-after, Profile, team grid, testimonials, process and technology list.
Static URL QR codes versus dynamic QR codes
A static URL QR code contains a fixed web address. If that address belongs to a QREasy-hosted site, you can change the page content while keeping the same address. The printed code still opens the site, so ordinary copy, image or link changes do not require reprinting it. A new static code is needed only when the encoded address changes; it is not the same as QR data containing an embedded vCard.
A dynamic QR code uses a managed redirect, so its destination can change without reprinting, subject to plan limits. That is useful when one printed code must lead to different destinations over time. It is not necessary merely to edit a hosted website. Neither type guarantees scanning on every device, so test the final code with the devices you expect visitors to use.
- Same address, new content: keep the static code and publish the revised page.
- New address: replace the static code or use an eligible dynamic redirect.
- Changing destinations: use dynamic only when its managed redirect solves a real need.
- Create the appropriate code with the QREasy QR code generators, then test the result before printing.
Limits, enquiries and a safe first launch
Creator is a presentation and navigation tool, not a complete customer relationship system. It has no native customer enquiry form, submission inbox, appointment scheduling, registration, inventory, ordering, checkout, payment processing or property CRM. For enquiries, the page can direct visitors to phone, email or WhatsApp; an enquiry sent this way is not automatically a confirmed reservation.
Restaurant and beauty templates may use an external booking link, but it opens a separate provider whose rules govern any booking or confirmation. An external contact form can likewise be described only as a link to a service the business already uses, not as a form built into QREasy. A consultancy can still describe scheduling or payment services delivered through its own established process.
Start simply: draft the one-page outline, add Text, Gallery, Links and Contact sections, publish, test the live address on a phone and only then print a static URL QR code. If the address will change, choose the QR strategy before distribution. Later copy and image changes can be made in the editor without rebuilding the design.
- Use Save Contact for a contact-card journey, not as a replacement for a native enquiry inbox.
- Label booking and form links as external, and make clear who handles the response.
