Choose the essentials before choosing a template
Begin with the decisions a guest needs to make: what the kitchen serves, where the restaurant is, when it is open, and how to enquire or reserve. Decide which details must be on every page and which can sit on a dedicated page. A clear hierarchy is more useful than filling every available section, especially when several dishes, photographs, service types, or booking routes are involved.
QREasy hosts editable small websites. After choosing a template, you can add and arrange supported sections containing text, images, service descriptions, contact details, and links, then publish the result. Before opening the Restaurant website template preview, list the content you already have and note anything that still needs photography, confirmation, or wording.
- Menu content: dishes, formats, prices, and any dietary qualifiers you choose to publish.
- Visit details: address, opening hours, and location information.
- Enquiry route: phone, email, WhatsApp, or an external booking service.
- Visual material: a small set of clear food and restaurant photographs.
Understand the Restaurant premium structure
The Restaurant premium template is designed to share a menu, location, and opening hours across a default of four pages. Treat it as a multi-page template rather than a one-page preview: use the additional space to separate reference information and keep the core journey easy to scan. The structure gives you room to make updates without rebuilding the whole site.
Using this template requires Lite SME or Business; the requirement belongs to the premium template itself and is independent of whether a Wallet card is created. A Free website can still include a Restaurant menu section, but that does not unlock the premium template. If you need to compare presentation options, browse the available QREasy website templates before committing to the structure.
- Restaurant premium: four default pages for the menu, location and opening hours.
- Free alternative: one website with up to one page and a Restaurant menu section.
- Paid requirement: Lite SME or Business; creating a Wallet card is not required to use the template.
Compose pages that answer real questions
Start with the Restaurant menu section, then support it with concise text blocks that explain the offer in plain language. Ordinary Text sections can describe services or past work, while Gallery sections can display photographs. Premium blocks such as a service grid, testimonials, profile, or editorial image layouts are a different matter: they require Lite SME or Business to publish, although premium content can be drafted before an upgrade.
Use images for food, people, the setting, and service rather than as decoration alone. Keep each page focused on one decision. For example, let the menu page explain the cuisine, the location page make arrival easier, and the hours page reduce uncertainty. Add links only when they lead to a relevant next step, and make the wording identify the destination before a guest selects it.
- Text: describe the concept, service style, or special arrangements.
- Gallery: show dishes, the room, preparation, or staff.
- Contact and Links: provide direct communication and booking routes.
- Other Free sections: Products, Social, Events, and Save Contact are available where useful.
Connect guests to enquiries and reservations
Restaurant templates can direct guests to a phone call, email, WhatsApp, or an external booking link. These actions open the relevant external channel; QREasy is not receiving the enquiry in a native inbox. If the business already uses another provider, a link to that provider can be included. An external form is simply a link to that separate service, not a QREasy contact form.
Keep the distinction clear: sending an email, making a call, or opening WhatsApp is not itself a confirmed reservation. A third-party booking service may confirm reservations under its own rules, but QREasy does not control its availability, confirmations, or policies. Avoid promising automatic confirmations, table availability, ordering, checkout, or payment handling unless your business provides those through another independent process.
- Phone and email: support direct questions through your normal business channels.
- WhatsApp: opens a conversation in the relevant external app.
- External booking link: opens the provider’s own booking journey.
- Native QREasy form: none; do not label an external provider link as a QREasy form.
Publish, share, and update through a stable URL
After the pages are edited and published, QREasy keeps the same website address for that site, and updated content can appear there. A static URL QR code can encode that address. Because the encoded destination does not change when the hosted page is edited, you can replace the menu or revise the hours without reprinting the code. The website still requires an internet connection to view.
Before printing, review what to put on a restaurant website before sharing its menu QR code, then use the QREasy QR code generators to create the code for the published website. Test it on the devices and locations where guests will use it, and consider leaving a typed web address nearby as another access route. Scanning a website QR code opens the site in the phone browser; it does not run inside a Wallet.
- Static URL QR: the encoded URL stays fixed while hosted content can change beneath it.
- Dynamic QR: uses a managed redirect whose destination can change, subject to plan limits.
- New code: required for a static QR only when the encoded URL itself changes.
- Device testing: neither static nor dynamic QR codes guarantee scanning on every device.
Match the plan to pages, QR codes, and limits
On Free, QREasy includes one website with up to one page, one dynamic QR code, unlimited static QR codes, and seven days of analytics history. Lite SME includes three websites with up to four pages each, 50 dynamic QR codes, unlimited static QR codes, and 90 days of analytics history. Business includes 33 websites with up to ten pages each, 357 dynamic QR codes, unlimited static QR codes, and 90 days of analytics history.
Review QREasy plans before publishing the template, because Restaurant premium requires Lite SME or Business. Plan access is separate from template access: Free includes Contact Wallet cards, while website-linked Wallet cards require Lite SME or Business. The listed prices are EUR 0.00 monthly or annually on Free, EUR 2.99 monthly or EUR 28.70 annually on Lite SME, and EUR 9.99 monthly or EUR 95.90 annually on Business.
- Restaurant premium: Lite SME or Business is required independently of Wallet use.
- Website editing: published pages need internet access for visitors to view them.
- Enquiries: no native contact form, enquiry inbox, appointment scheduling, or automated confirmations.
- Operations: no native ordering, checkout, payment processing, inventory, or property CRM.
- Dynamic QR use: the number available depends on the selected plan.
