What the Business Card website template includes
Before editing, open the business card website template preview to see the intended layout. The template contains one page by default, while the preview page can display several screens/pages, so the page count should not be read from the preview. The template is available on Free and is built around putting essential contact information in one place.
The starting structure contains Save Contact, Contact, and Links. Save Contact provides a contact-saving route, Contact presents the visible details, and Links groups direct actions such as calling, emailing, opening WhatsApp, or visiting an external service. Test every destination before publication.
There is no prebuilt services area in the starting template. A consultant can add an ordinary Text section to explain the offer and a Gallery section to display photographs of past work. This adds context without implying that the premium Service Grid or Profile blocks are already included.
Open the template and replace the sample content
If you want to compare starting layouts first, browse the QREasy website templates. The Business Card option suits a compact, one-page contact site. In the website builder, add and arrange supported sections with text, images, contact details, links, and other available blocks.
Replace the fictional name, company, role, and sample copy first. Then write a short introduction explaining what you do, who you help, and why a visitor should contact you. Keep the contact information accurate and label each link specifically so visitors know whether they will call, send an email, open WhatsApp, or continue to a booking provider.
The Contact section presents details; it is not a native enquiry form or submission inbox. Phone, email, and WhatsApp actions open those external channels. If clients need appointments, link to a booking provider already used by the business and leave confirmation to that provider’s rules.
Publish the website and keep the same address
Review the finished page on a phone and publish it from the builder. QREasy hosts the site and provides its web address. That same address can display revised content, allowing you to update a service description, replace a photograph, or correct contact details without creating another website for a small change.
If an existing QR code points to that address, routine content updates do not require replacing it. A static URL QR contains a fixed URL, while the content served at that URL can change without changing or reprinting the code. Website visitors also need an internet connection to load the hosted page.
A dynamic QR is useful when the destination itself needs to be managed through a redirect. Free includes one dynamic QR code and unlimited static QR codes, while the paid plans provide larger dynamic-code allowances. A dynamic QR is not required merely to edit the content of a hosted website.
Static QR, dynamic QR, and website URLs are different
A URL is the address of the hosted page. A static URL QR stores that address, while a dynamic QR uses a managed redirect whose destination can be changed within plan limits. In either case, content behind the same destination can change without reprinting. Only changing the encoded static URL requires a new static QR.
Do not confuse a static URL QR with embedded static vCard data. The former opens an editable web page; the latter carries contact data within the code itself. If the goal is a business-card website with a gallery, text, contact details, and links, encode the website URL rather than treating embedded contact data as a replacement.
Use the QR code generators to select the appropriate destination and code type. Test the final code on the phones and in the conditions where it will be used. Neither static nor dynamic QR codes guarantee scanning on every device, even when their configuration is correct.
Connect the website to a wallet card
QREasy provides digital business cards for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, but a wallet card is not the same thing as the website. A Contact wallet card lets recipients review and save contact details. A website-linked wallet card is designed to open the QREasy website instead.
The QR on a website-linked wallet card encodes the website URL, so scanning it opens the phone browser. It does not display the website as a page running inside Wallet. Google Wallet can also include a Visit Page link, and opening the website does not require a preceding card-review step.
The comparison between contact details and a website QR helps separate the two journeys. Use a Contact card when saving details is the main objective; use the website-linked journey when visitors should first see your offer, examples, and contact options.
Free website and paid website-linked wallet cards
The Business Card template is available on Free, and the Free plan includes one website with up to one page. Free website section types include Restaurant menu, Links, Products, Gallery, Text, Contact, Social, Save Contact, and Events. Premium types such as Service Grid, Profile, Video, Testimonials, and Locations require Lite SME or Business to publish.
Premium sections may be drafted before upgrading, but they cannot be published on Free. Editorial layouts and image sliders are also paid features. Ordinary Text and Gallery sections can communicate a consultant’s services or show completed work, while premium blocks provide additional layouts that depend on the selected plan.
Contact wallet cards are included with Free, but website-linked wallet cards require Lite SME or Business. Both paid plans include them. Compare QREasy plans for the included number of websites, pages, and QR codes; Lite SME permits three websites with up to four pages each, while Business permits 33 with up to ten pages each.
