Define the purpose and check what Free includes
Begin with the action you want a visitor to take: call, email, open WhatsApp, visit an external booking page, or review your work. Then decide what supporting content is necessary, such as a short introduction, service descriptions, images, and relevant links. A focused one-page site is easier to scan than a collection of unrelated sections, especially for a first business card website.
Free includes these section types: Restaurant menu, Links, Products, Gallery, Text, Contact, Social, Save Contact and Events. Ordinary Text sections can explain services, qualifications, or past work, and a Gallery can display photographs. These are enough to build a useful contact site, but they should not be confused with premium blocks such as Service Grid, Profile, Team Grid, or Editorial Image layouts.
Music, video, channels, downloads, CTA, image, premium gallery, FAQ, publications, credibility strip, locations, stats strip, before/after, testimonials, process, and technology list are also premium section types. Editorial layouts and image sliders require Lite SME or Business as well. You may draft premium content before upgrading, but Free cannot publish those sections.
- Choose one primary contact action for the page.
- Keep each text block focused on one customer question.
- Use the standard Gallery for ordinary photo displays.
Choose the right plan
Compare the available QREasy plans before building. Free is enough for one website with up to one page, contact Wallet cards, and basic site sections. Lite SME adds website-linked Wallet cards and allows a richer site; Business offers the most websites, pages, and dynamic QR codes of the three plans.
If your immediate goal is a digital contact card plus a simple public page, start on Free and upgrade only when a required feature is blocked. Website-linked Wallet cards are not available on Free. Premium sections can be prepared in advance, but the upgrade must be active before they can be published.
- Free: 1 website, up to 1 page, 1 dynamic QR, unlimited static QR codes, 7 days of analytics history, and contact Wallet cards. Price: €0.00 monthly or annually.
- Lite SME: 3 websites, up to 4 pages each, 50 dynamic QR codes, unlimited static QR codes, and 90 days of analytics history. Website-linked Wallet cards included. Price: €2.99 monthly or €28.70 annually.
- Business: 33 websites, up to 10 pages each, 357 dynamic QR codes, unlimited static QR codes, and 90 days of analytics history. Website-linked Wallet cards included. Price: €9.99 monthly or €95.90 annually.
Build the one-page site
The Business Card template is available on Free and contains one page by default. Preview the Business Card website template to see its structure, then browse the other website templates if you want a different visual starting point. Choose Business Card when your goal is a focused contact site.
The template does not arrive with a prebuilt services area. For a consultant, add an ordinary Text section for a profile, methods, or relevant experience, and use Gallery for selected work. For a restaurant or beauty business, the available menu, contact, and external enquiry actions can support the appropriate template, but the page itself is not an ordering or reservation system.
- Open the creation flow and select the Business Card template.
- Review the starting sections: Save Contact, Contact, and Links.
- Replace sample copy with your name, role, business, and core offer.
- Add Text or Gallery sections only where they support the main action.
- Arrange the sections for a short mobile scan and preview the page.
Add contact routes, text, and images
Contact sections in restaurant and beauty templates can open phone, email, WhatsApp, or an external booking link. These actions leave the site and use the relevant channel. QREasy does not provide a verified native contact form or enquiry submission inbox, so do not expect messages sent through the site to arrive in a QREasy inbox. An external form is suitable only when it links to a separate provider your business already uses.
Write each section around one question a customer is likely to have: Who are you, what do you do, where do you work, and how should I get in touch? Use specific service descriptions, concise project examples, and factual details. Images should show people, places, products, or results at a useful size, while descriptive text remains important.
- Add your name, role, location, and primary contact details.
- Summarize the core offer in one short text section.
- Show selected work through a concise gallery.
- Make the preferred contact route easy to recognize.
Connect the QR code and Wallet card
Open the QREasy QR code generators and choose the destination that matches the purpose. A static URL QR encodes a fixed website address. A dynamic QR uses a managed redirect, so its destination can be changed within the plan’s limits. For a business card website, point the URL QR to the published site; a static URL QR is not an embedded static vCard.
Editing the site does not automatically require a dynamic QR. If the static QR still encodes the same URL, you can replace the text, images, or links at that address without reprinting the QR. Changing the encoded URL does require a new static QR. Dynamic QREasy codes can redirect to a new destination without reprinting, subject to plan limits. Neither static nor dynamic QREasy codes guarantee scanning on every device, so test the final code.
QREasy provides Wallet cards for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. A contact Wallet card lets recipients review and save contact details. A website-linked Wallet card adds a way to open the QREasy site; its QR encodes the website URL. Google Wallet presents this as a Visit Page link. This option requires Lite SME or Business. A website QR still opens the page in the phone browser, not inside Wallet, and the optional comparison of contact details and a website QR explains the distinction.
Publish, update, and respect the limits
Publish only after checking the mobile experience. Test every contact action, open external links in a private browser window, and view the gallery on a smaller screen. The published site needs internet access. QREasy hosts editable websites, and the same website address can display updated content after you edit and publish again.
Keep the scope realistic. The website builder is not a native appointment scheduler, ordering system, checkout, payment processor, automated confirmation tool, inventory system, or property CRM. A phone, email, or WhatsApp request is not itself a confirmed reservation; an external booking provider may confirm it under that provider’s rules. Your business can offer scheduling, payment, or other services through its own separate processes.
- Test the QR code on several phones and on printed materials.
- Recheck external booking and social links regularly.
- Replace a static QR whenever its encoded URL changes.
- Update and republish the page after contact details or offers change.
