What the Portfolio template includes
Start with the live Portfolio template preview. The Portfolio template has one page by default and is available on Free. Several content areas in a preview are sections on that page, not extra pages. Paid plans allow additional pages, but the default Portfolio format remains a single page.
The preview is a visual starting point, not a promise that every possible block is already included. Template defaults and sections added later are different things. QREasy lets you arrange supported content such as text, images, service descriptions, contact details and links. However, a general service description in Text is not the same as the premium Service Grid.
A complete basic portfolio does not need decorative extras: a concise introduction, selected work in a Gallery, factual information about services or experience, and a clear contact route cover the essential journey. Replace all sample businesses, people and projects. Template demonstrations are fictional and must not be presented as client examples, testimonials or results.
Configure your one-page portfolio step by step
Choose Portfolio from the available website templates and open the editor. Before adding features, outline the page in visitor order: who you are, what you offer, examples of work, relevant experience, ways to contact you and useful external resources. Each section should answer one question and move the visitor toward a decision.
Add and arrange the supported sections, write specific copy, replace every sample, publish the page and complete the final review below. Publishing creates an editable, hosted website. Its address can continue to display updated content after you revise the copy or replace images, so routine updates do not require a new address. The website needs an internet connection to open.
- Replace the introductory sample with your role, location and area of expertise.
- Add Text sections for services, project themes or relevant experience.
- Use Gallery for curated images, with explanatory Text nearby.
- Add Contact and Links for communication channels you maintain.
- Publish only after completing the final review.
Present projects, services and experience
Use Text as the flexible core of the portfolio. A project section can state the brief, your role, the work delivered and an honest outcome. A service section can explain its scope, suitable clients, working method and what happens next. You can describe services in ordinary Text even on Free; this does not make the section a premium Service Grid.
Use Gallery to show selected visual work instead of every image available. For a photographer, this might mean finished projects. For a consultant, it might show a workspace, process, products or project moments. Put context in adjacent Text when a photograph needs explanation. Choose images that remain clear on a phone and remove samples that do not represent your actual offer.
For enquiries, add Contact and Links for phone, email, WhatsApp or an external booking link. These actions open the relevant external channel. There is no verified native contact form or enquiry submission inbox in the QREasy portfolio website. If you already use a separate form provider, you may link to it, but make clear that the enquiry or reservation is completed there. A WhatsApp message is not automatically a confirmed booking.
Free sections, premium blocks and plan choices
Free websites can use Restaurant menu, Links, Products, Gallery, Text, Contact, Social, Save Contact and Events sections. These are available section types, not requirements for every portfolio. For the core visitor journey, Text, Gallery, Contact and Links are usually sufficient. A Free website can describe services and past work in ordinary Text sections and display photos in Gallery.
Premium section types require Lite SME or Business to publish. They include Music, Video, Channels, Downloads, CTA, Image, Premium Gallery, Service Grid, FAQ, Publications, Credibility Strip, Locations, Stats Strip, Before/After, Profile, Team Grid, Testimonials, Process and Technology List; editorial layouts and image sliders also require a paid plan. You may draft premium sections on Free, but they cannot go live until you upgrade.
Compare QREasy plans before choosing a paid layout or Wallet feature:
- Free: EUR 0.00 monthly or annually; 1 website, up to 1 page, 1 dynamic QR code, unlimited static QR codes and 7 days of analytics history.
- Lite SME: EUR 2.99 monthly or EUR 28.70 annually; 3 websites, up to 4 pages, 50 dynamic QR codes, unlimited static QR codes and 90 days of analytics history.
- Business: EUR 9.99 monthly or EUR 95.90 annually; 33 websites, up to 10 pages, 357 dynamic QR codes, unlimited static QR codes and 90 days of analytics history.
Share the portfolio with links and QR codes
After publishing, share the website address directly or place a QR code beside it in print, packaging, social profiles or email. The same address can show updated content, and visitors need internet access. You can create the code with the QREasy QR code generators, but choose its destination deliberately instead of treating every QR as a campaign shortcut.
A static URL QR contains a fixed URL. Content served at that same URL can change without changing or reprinting the QR, so an edited hosted page can keep the same code. Only changing the encoded URL requires a new static QR. A dynamic QR uses a managed redirect whose destination can change without reprinting, subject to plan limits. Editing a hosted website does not by itself require a dynamic QR.
Wallet cards are a separate route. Contact Wallet cards are included with Free; a Wallet card linked to a website requires Lite SME or Business. Its QR encodes the website URL and opens the site in the phone browser, not inside Wallet. Google Wallet also provides a Visit Page link. Neither static nor dynamic QR guarantees scanning on every device, so test the final placement on several devices.
Review before publishing and sharing
Perform a final review from a visitor’s perspective, not only inside the editor. Check the sequence, wording, image relevance and every action. Use this short checklist before release:
Fix broken actions before sharing the URL. If a QR should point to a permanent page, keep that encoded address unless the page address itself changes. For external bookings or forms, check the provider’s own availability and confirmation rules. QREasy hosts and presents the portfolio, but it does not turn an email, WhatsApp message or third-party form into a native booking system.
- Read the headings and body copy aloud; remove sample names, unsupported claims and repetitive introductions.
- Confirm that phone, email and WhatsApp actions reach the intended account and external links open the correct provider.
- View the published page on a phone and desktop, checking image clarity, spacing and link visibility.
- Confirm that the current plan permits every published section; upgrade before releasing a premium block.
- Scan the final QR with more than one device and check that it opens the intended address.
