Choose a builder around the portfolio workflow
When comparing a photographer website builder, look beyond appearance. Check whether you can combine images with explanatory text, services, contact details, social links, and booking calls to action; arrange supported sections across multiple pages; edit after publication; and use a stable address for print materials. QREasy hosts editable small websites and lets the same address show revised content once published.
Also separate website features from business software. QREasy can link to a booking service you already use, but it does not provide a native enquiry inbox, appointment calendar, availability, automated confirmations, checkout, or payment processing. The linked provider handles its own booking flow and confirmation rules. If scheduling or payments matter, test that external service independently before publishing its link.
Start with the QREasy website templates to compare presentation options, then judge each option by those publishing and enquiry requirements rather than by sample content alone. Template examples are fictional demonstrations, not evidence of results.
Understand the Photographer template
The Photographer website template preview shows a premium, four-page template designed to present a portfolio and booking links. Four pages can help separate areas such as work, services, information, and contact details, but you control the final arrangement. The preview is not a one-page website, and any sample names, studios, images, or copy are fictional examples.
Photographer requires Lite SME or Business to use and publish. That requirement belongs to the premium template itself; it is not caused by Wallet functionality. Free sites can still show photography through supported free sections, especially Gallery and ordinary Text, but they cannot use the Photographer template. Free pages also cannot publish premium blocks such as Service Grid, Profile, editorial layouts, or image sliders.
Before editing, inventory each page and decide what a visitor should see first. Lead with representative images, explain the type of work offered, and finish with a clear booking path. Reusing the same image set across the site is optional, but selective curation usually makes it easier for visitors to understand the portfolio than displaying every photograph without context.
Customize text, gallery, services, and contact details
In QREasy, add and arrange supported sections using text, images, services, contact details, and links. For a Free site, Text can describe a photography offer and Gallery can display past work. Premium layouts are distinct: Service Grid, Profile, credibility strips, testimonials, and similar section types need a paid plan before publication. Add a section deliberately instead of assuming every capability appears in the template by default.
Write concise page copy that tells visitors what you shoot, where you work, who the work is for, and how to enquire. For services, state the offer plainly and link to the relevant detail. Keep contact details consistent across the site, and use the Contact or Save Contact section where appropriate. These sections present information; they should not be described as a native enquiry form or reservation system.
For booking, use a Links section or the template's booking-link area to point to an external provider. Opening the link leaves QREasy and takes the visitor into that provider's own process. A phone, email, or WhatsApp link starts an enquiry channel, but it does not by itself confirm a reservation. Likewise, a separate online form is a link to another provider, not a QREasy inbox.
Publish, test, and connect a QR code
Preview every page on a phone and desktop, check that links open the intended external service, and confirm that text and images remain readable on a small screen. Publishing creates a hosted website that requires an internet connection. After publication, edit the content and publish again; the website address can remain the same, which is important for a QR code already printed on cards or studio materials.
For a print-ready QR, use a static URL code that encodes the published website address. A static QR encodes a fixed URL, so changing the destination requires a new code. However, content served at that same address can change without reprinting the QR. This makes a static URL QR suitable for a hosted QREasy site whose portfolio or copy will evolve.
Alternatively, a dynamic QR uses a managed redirect whose destination can be changed under the plan's limits. You do not need a dynamic QR merely to edit a hosted page. Neither type guarantees scanning on every device, so test the final placement and provide the plain web address as a fallback. The QREasy QR code generators can help you create the appropriate code, but a static vCard code stores contact data rather than opening your website.
Choose a plan and decide on Wallet
Compare capacity, page count, QR limits, analytics history, and whether you need a website-linked Wallet card. Review the QREasy plans before publishing because the Photographer template itself requires a paid plan. Website-linked Wallet cards carry the same Lite SME or Business requirement, and this requirement is independent of the Photographer template's own paid-plan requirement. Separately, the website-linked Wallet journey works by opening a QREasy site through the phone browser rather than running the site inside Wallet.
If one photographer site with four pages is the core need, Lite SME covers both the template and a website-linked Wallet card. Business is more relevant when managing several sites, longer page counts, or higher dynamic QR capacity. If no Wallet card is required, the website and QR tools can still be evaluated separately from card functionality.
