Explore the Law Firm Website Template
Start with the preview of QREasy’s legal practice website template. It is designed to help a visitor understand the practice and the first consultation, giving you a structured starting point instead of a blank site. Treat the preview as a planning aid: replace sample wording with accurate, approved details rather than presenting fictional examples as real services or results.
The legal template is premium and requires Lite SME or Business to use it. That condition belongs to the website template itself, not to Wallet functionality. When choosing a plan, check the template requirement separately from whether you want a contact-only Wallet card or a website-linked card, so the two decisions remain clear.
Before editing, list the practice areas you want to explain, the audience you serve, what a visitor should know before contacting you, and the approved details of an initial consultation. Assign each item to a page or section. Use your firm’s review process for statements about services, fees, eligibility, deadlines, and outcomes before publication.
Preview the Default Three-Page Structure
The default legal template contains three pages, so preview it as a multi-page website rather than a one-page site. Read the pages in order and note each page’s purpose, repeated information, and the point at which a visitor should find a contact route. The preview is a starting point; you decide the final content and sequence.
A useful editing map is orientation on page one, relevant practice areas and services on page two, and the first-consultation explanation and contact route on page three. This is a suggested allocation, not a claim about fixed page labels. If visitors ask questions in another order, revise the sequence around those questions and remove placeholders or duplicated paragraphs.
Before publishing, check the full journey: can a reader identify a relevant practice, understand what an initial consultation involves, and reach an approved way to enquire? Keep the same website address throughout editing, because that address can later display revised content.
Explain Your Practice and First Consultation
Write the practice explanation in plain, specific language. Say what the firm helps with, who the explanation is for, and what a visitor can reasonably expect from an initial exchange. Replace generic claims with details that are current and approved. Mention specialisms, sectors, languages, fees, locations, or response arrangements only when the firm has checked them.
Explain a first consultation as a sequence: how to enquire, what information to prepare, whether the meeting is in person or remote, who may attend, and what happens afterward. State timing only if the firm can meet it. Do not promise an outcome, guarantee availability, or imply automated confirmation unless an independent process actually provides it.
On Free, ordinary Text sections can describe services and past work, while Gallery can display photos. Those free sections do not make premium Service Grid, Profile, or Editorial Image blocks free. Establish the essentials first, then check the plan before relying on richer presentation blocks.
Add and Arrange Supported Website Sections
QREasy hosts editable small websites. After choosing a template, add and arrange supported sections with text, images, contact details, and links, then publish. Select sections by visitor task: explain the practice, show relevant work or people, make contact details easy to find, and link to resources you already use. Browse QREasy website templates before settling on a visual direction.
The Free section list includes Restaurant menu, Links, Products, Gallery, Text, Contact, Social, Save Contact, and Events. Not every section suits a legal site. Text and Gallery are flexible; Contact and Links support next steps; Events should appear only when there is a genuine event to promote. For broader context, see information about QREasy.
Premium section types require Lite SME or Business to publish. They may be drafted before upgrading, but cannot be published on Free. Editorial layouts and image sliders also require a paid plan. Do not confuse an added Text section with a premium Service Grid: ordinary Text can describe services on Free. Check both the section and the legal template before creating a layout-heavy site.
- Premium options that may suit legal content include Service Grid, Profile, Team Grid, FAQ, Publications, Process, Credibility Strip, Locations, Stats Strip, Before-After, and Testimonials.
- Other premium types include Channels, Downloads, Technology List, Music, Video, Image, Premium Gallery, and CTA.
Set Expectations for Contact and Consultation Enquiries
Add a contact route that matches how the firm receives enquiries. Use supported contact details and links for approved phone, email, WhatsApp, or external booking destinations where available. When a visitor selects an action, the relevant external channel opens; it does not become a native QREasy enquiry workflow. Make the destination and next step obvious.
QREasy does not have a verified native customer contact form or enquiry submission inbox. Do not describe a contact form as a built-in QREasy feature. If the firm already uses a separate provider, link to it and make that clear. An enquiry sent by phone, email, or WhatsApp is not itself a confirmed booking; an external provider may confirm bookings under its own rules.
Your firm may offer scheduling, payment, or other services through its own processes. Describe those processes accurately without implying that QREasy stores submissions, checks calendar availability, sends automated confirmations, processes payments, or manages a booking. Keep the website’s role separate from the firm’s independent service delivery.
- Label each action so visitors know whether it opens an email, phone app, WhatsApp, or another provider.
- Treat a message as an enquiry, not a confirmed appointment, until the relevant provider confirms it.
Understand Plans, Publish, and Update Content at the Same Address
The legal template requires Lite SME or Business, and the QREasy plans page shows the current allowances and prices. Lite SME includes three websites with up to four pages each; Business includes 33 websites with up to ten pages each. Free includes one website with up to one page, so it cannot use the three-page legal template. Choose the plan from the template and site size, then check any Wallet need separately.
Wallet access is a separate decision. Contact Wallet cards and the first one-page website are free, while website-linked Wallet cards require Lite SME or Business. A website-linked card’s QR encodes the website URL; scanning opens the site in the phone browser, not as a site running inside Wallet. Google Wallet also includes a Visit Page link. A contact card does not unlock the legal template, and a website-linked card does not replace the template’s plan requirement.
After editing, publish. The same website address can display updated content, so changes to text, images, links, or sections do not require a new address. When you add a QR, use the QREasy QR code generators for a static URL or dynamic redirect according to the destination and plan. Website access needs internet.
- A static URL QR contains a fixed URL, but a hosted webpage at that same URL can change without changing or reprinting the code.
- A dynamic QR uses a managed redirect whose destination can change subject to plan limits; editing a hosted website does not require a dynamic QR.
- Do not confuse a static URL QR with embedded static vCard data, and do not promise that either QR type will scan on every device.
