Understand the Four-Page Photographer Template
The Photographer template is a premium website template for photographers and studios that want to show a portfolio and booking links. Its default structure contains four pages. That distinction matters when you compare the preview of the Photographer website template with QREasy’s free one-page website offer: the preview represents a multipage template, not a single-page site. The template requirement applies even if you never create a digital business card.
Plan the visitor journey before editing. A useful four-page pattern is an introduction, a portfolio gallery, a services page, and a contact page. Treat this as an editorial plan rather than fixed page labels. Choose the Photographer template, add supported sections, and arrange them so prospective clients can move from seeing your work to understanding your offer and making contact.
- Page 1: Introduce the studio and its photography focus with Text.
- Page 2: Use Gallery for selected work and Text for project context.
- Page 3: Explain services and practical client information with supported sections.
- Page 4: Make phone, email, WhatsApp, and booking options easy to find.
Customize the Portfolio and Service Sections
QREasy websites are edited by choosing a template, adding and arranging supported sections, entering text and images, adding services, contact details, and links, and then publishing. A Free site can include ordinary Text and Gallery sections, enough to describe past work and services in simpler form. Do not confuse these with premium layouts such as Service Grid, Profile, Editorial Image, or image sliders.
Premium sections may be drafted before upgrading, but they cannot be published on Free. Service Grid, Profile, Editorial Image, editorial layouts, and sliders require Lite SME or Business to publish. If you start on Free, use Text and Gallery to test the narrative, then decide whether the visual role of a premium block justifies keeping the Photographer template and its paid-plan requirement.
For a coherent portfolio, move from a representative image to context, then to a relevant service and a clear next action. Keep each image choice intentional rather than treating Gallery as an unedited archive. You can also compare QREasy’s website templates, but do not assume another template’s features are automatically included in Photographer or available on Free.
- Keep Text blocks focused on context, scope, and the client experience.
- Use Gallery for a deliberate selection that demonstrates range.
- Add a premium block only when it communicates something Text cannot.
- Draft contact language before publishing so every page has a logical next step.
Connect Contacts and External Bookings
A published site can include a phone number, email address, WhatsApp, and links to external booking services. These elements open the relevant external channel; they do not create a native QREasy inquiry form, scheduling calendar, automated confirmation system, or customer relationship management system. If visitors need to arrange an appointment, make the path explicit and send them to a booking provider the business already uses.
Describe the links accurately. A phone call, email, or WhatsApp message is an enquiry, not by itself a confirmed reservation. An external provider may confirm bookings under its own rules, and QREasy does not determine its availability, policies, or functions. A photography business may also offer scheduling or payment through its own independent process; these limits concern what the QREasy website implements.
Use a clear contact hierarchy: place the preferred booking link first, then email or WhatsApp for questions, and a phone number for clients who prefer to talk. Test each route on mobile and desktop. Before launch, open the external flow and confirm that it belongs to the right business, that the intended service can be selected, and that the provider’s confirmation process is clear.
- Label the action: Request a quote, Ask about availability, or Open booking.
- Use one primary booking provider when possible to avoid confusing clients.
- Check that contact details match those used by the external provider.
- Do not promise confirmation until the external provider has supplied it.
Use QR Codes and Wallet Cards Correctly
A QR code linked to the site contains the website address. Scanning it opens that address in the phone’s browser; it does not open a website embedded inside Wallet. Website-linked Wallet cards require Lite SME or Business. Google Wallet also provides a Visit Page link, while the QR journey remains a browser visit. The Photographer template’s plan requirement is separate and is not caused by Wallet functionality.
If the QR encodes the same web address, you can replace the content served there without changing the encoded URL or reprinting the code. A static URL QR therefore need not become dynamic merely because a gallery or contact details change. A new static QR is needed only when the encoded URL changes. Dynamic QR uses a managed redirect and has plan limits, but it is unnecessary for routine updates at a stable address.
Use the QREasy QR code generators to create or manage the code, then test it from the devices and locations your clients are likely to use. Neither a static nor a dynamic QR guarantees a successful scan on every device. Keep the destination online and accessible with internet, and confirm that any printed code points to the final address before distribution.
- Use a stable website URL for routine portfolio updates.
- Create a new static code if the destination URL changes.
- Use dynamic redirects when the destination must change through a managed redirect.
- Test the live page and the scan route before printing.
Check Plan Limits Before Publishing
Plan choice affects page capacity and publishing. Free includes one website with up to one page, one dynamic QR, unlimited static QR codes, and seven days of analytics history. Lite SME includes three websites with up to four pages each, 50 dynamic QR codes, unlimited static QR codes, and 90 days of analytics history. Business includes 33 websites with up to ten pages each, 357 dynamic QR codes, unlimited static QR codes, and 90 days of analytics history.
The listed prices are EUR 0.00 monthly or annually on Free, EUR 2.99 monthly or EUR 28.70 annually on Lite SME, and EUR 9.99 monthly or EUR 95.90 annually on Business. Review the QREasy plans and current limits before purchase, especially if you need several sites, more pages, longer analytics history, a website-linked Wallet card, or premium sections.
For this workflow, the Photographer template requires Lite SME or Business, independent of Wallet creation. Lite SME’s four-page allowance matches the template’s default count; Business provides more room for multiple or longer sites. Before publishing, verify every premium section, external booking link, and contact detail. Draft ordinary sections on Free if useful, but upgrade to an eligible plan before you use or publish the Photographer template.
- Choose Lite SME for one four-page portfolio site or Business for broader site capacity.
- Confirm every desired premium section can be published on the selected plan.
- Test every phone, email, WhatsApp, and booking link before launch.
- Check that the QR destination matches the published website address.
- Publish, scan, and review the site on a phone before sharing it.
