Choose a template around client decisions
When comparing a small website for a massage practice, start with the visitor’s journey rather than decorative blocks. Can a client scan the home page, identify the kinds of sessions offered, find practical information, and open a useful contact or booking channel? You can browse the available website templates with that checklist in mind.
Plan the content around claims you can substantiate. Typical material includes treatment names, session length, suitable context, preparation notes, practitioner background, service location, fees, cancellation terms, and answers to common questions. Learn what QREasy includes before deciding how much belongs on the site and what belongs in a linked external service.
- Make the main treatments understandable without requiring a call.
- Show only facts you can verify, including location, format, duration and fees.
- Separate general information from a booking handoff.
- Check how the design feels on a phone before publishing.
Review the Massage & wellness starting point
You can preview the Massage & wellness template before editing it. The template contains three pages by default, so view it as a three-page starting point rather than a one-page preview. Its sample content and business are fictional demonstrations, not testimonials or outcomes.
In the preview, check what is already present on each page: the sample narrative, headings, image areas, contact blocks, links and section order. Treat the fictional business, people and copy as placeholders rather than proof of results. Decide what to keep, rewrite, remove or replace before adding anything new.
A Free website can describe services and past work in ordinary Text sections and display photos in Gallery; Contact and Links handle practical next steps. Premium section types, including service-grid, profile, testimonials, FAQ, locations or editorial layouts, cannot be published on Free. The Massage & wellness template itself is available on Lite SME or Business.
- Suggested page 1: introduce the practice and explain how sessions are organized.
- Suggested page 2: compare treatments with ordinary Text and Gallery sections.
- Suggested page 3: cover practical details, contact channels and an external booking link.
Set expectations for contact and booking
Use the native Contact and Links sections to display a phone number, email address, WhatsApp destination or a link to a booking service. Selecting one of these actions opens the relevant external channel. QREasy does not provide a verified native customer contact form or an enquiry-submission inbox, so do not describe one as a built-in feature of your site.
Although the template’s wording helps clients choose a treatment and a time, that is a content objective, not a scheduling function. An external form is only a link to a separate provider that the business already uses. A message sent by phone, email or WhatsApp is an enquiry, not itself a confirmed reservation. A linked booking provider may confirm appointments under its own rules.
The site also does not natively manage calendar availability, automated confirmations, inventory, checkout, payment processing, ordering or a property CRM. That limit does not prevent the business from offering scheduling, payments or other services independently. Present them as external services and make the handoff explicit.
- Write “Request an appointment” for an email or WhatsApp enquiry.
- Write “Book through our provider” for an external booking link.
- State any fees, cancellation rules and confirmation process accurately.
- Never imply that an enquiry has already reserved a time.
Publish once, then keep the address
Create the site from the chosen template, replace the sample content, add or rearrange supported sections, and publish when the pages are ready. QREasy hosts the editable site, and the same website address can display later updates. Website access requires an internet connection, so publishing does not make the content available offline.
Before each republish, review navigation, treatment wording, image selection, contact details, external links and every call to action on a phone. If a link opens a provider you use, check that the destination still works. Keep changes at the same published URL unless you intentionally want visitors and printed QR codes to move elsewhere.
- Replace fictional names, sample prices, sample locations and placeholder images.
- Confirm hours, service area, fees and policies.
- Test each phone, email, WhatsApp and booking link.
- Publish, revisit the public address, then make final corrections if needed.
Use QR codes and Wallet cards for different jobs
Static and dynamic QR codes solve different update problems. Use the QREasy QR code generators to choose a destination and test the journey. A static code contains a fixed URL, so the page at that address can change without reprinting; only a changed encoded URL requires a new static code. A dynamic code uses a managed redirect whose destination can change without reprinting, subject to plan limits. Editing a hosted page does not require a dynamic code.
Neither approach guarantees that every device will scan successfully. Test the code in the places and devices you actually expect to use. Also do not confuse a static URL QR with embedded static vCard data: the former opens a web address, while the latter carries contact data directly.
Wallet cards serve another purpose. QREasy provides digital business cards for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. A contact Wallet card lets recipients review and save contact details; a website-linked card opens the QREasy site. Its QR encodes the website URL and opens it through the phone browser, not as a site running inside Wallet. Google Wallet also includes a Visit Page link.
- Static website QR: keep the encoded URL fixed while the page content changes.
- Dynamic QR: use a managed redirect whose destination can change within plan limits.
- Website-linked Wallet QR: opens the website in the phone browser.
- Contact Wallet card: lets recipients review and save contact details.
Match the template, Wallet card and plan
The Massage & wellness template is a premium template and requires Lite SME or Business to use, independently of whether you create a Wallet card. Do not attribute that requirement to Wallet functionality. Free still includes the first one-page website and contact Wallet cards, but it does not unlock this three-page template.
When you compare QREasy plans, check page count, number of sites, QR limits, analytics history and whether you need a Wallet card linked to a website. The plan details below are useful for a single massage practice or a small team managing several locations.
