What to Look for in a Restaurant Menu Website Builder
Begin with the visitor’s next action. The website should present essential information quickly, remain easy to revise and provide clear links for calls, messages or bookings. For menus, also check whether the tool supports images and text, whether the published address stays stable and whether you can share that address through a QR code without rebuilding the page each time.
QREasy covers that compact discovery-and-contact role. Users select a template, add supported sections, arrange text, images, services, contact details and links, then publish an editable website hosted by QREasy. You can compare the available website templates before deciding whether a free one-page build or the multi-page Restaurant option better matches the business.
Free Restaurant Menu Section Versus the Restaurant Template
QREasy’s Free plan includes one website with up to one page. Free sections include Restaurant menu, Links, Products, Gallery, Text, Contact, Social, Save Contact and Events. This makes the free Restaurant menu section suitable for a concise menu page with supporting photographs, ordinary text and contact details. Premium section types can be drafted on Free, but they cannot be published without a paid plan.
The separate Restaurant template contains four pages and is intended to share a menu, location details and hours. It requires Lite SME or Business to use; that requirement comes from the premium template itself, not from Wallet functionality. Its Restaurant website template preview shows the four-page structure, so it should not be described as a one-page preview.
Add Menus, Photos, Location Details and Opening Hours
Start with the Restaurant menu section, then add only the content that helps a guest decide. Use menu text for dishes and descriptions, and Gallery for photographs of the food, drinks, room or team. A plain Text section can carry practical information such as service periods, special-opening announcements and house policies you have checked. Keep claims and details current rather than filling every available section.
For location and hours, edit the relevant template content or use ordinary Text and Contact sections. A dedicated Locations section belongs to the premium section types, so check plan access before relying on it. Add phone, email and social links where useful, arrange sections in a logical order and check the published result on a small screen.
Images help guests understand the offering. Choose clear photographs of the actual place, products and people, and use a nearby Text section to explain what each image shows. Before sharing, replace every sample dish, price, location and hour with accurate business information.
Connect Enquiries and External Booking Links
Restaurant templates use phone, email, WhatsApp and external booking links for enquiries. Selecting one opens the relevant external channel rather than submitting data into a QREasy enquiry system. QREasy does not include a verified native contact form or enquiry submission inbox. An external form is only a link to a separate provider the business already uses, so do not describe it as a QREasy form or promise that submissions will reach the restaurant’s own inbox unless that provider already handles the workflow.
An external booking link can lead to a separate provider that guests use to make and, under that provider’s own rules, confirm a reservation. A phone, email or WhatsApp message is simply an enquiry and is not itself a confirmed reservation. QREasy does not determine what the external provider supports, so describe the destination accurately and test its availability and policies before publishing it.
Do not imply native appointment scheduling, calendar availability, inventory checks, automated confirmations, ordering, checkout, payment processing or a property CRM. A restaurant may still offer these services independently through other systems. Give each website action a specific label, use the shortest reliable destination and avoid redundant contact options.
Publish, Update and Share by QR Code or Wallet
After arranging the sections, publish the website through QREasy and save the website address. The same address can display updated content later, so a revised menu, new photograph, changed hour or updated contact link does not require a new website. Anyone opening it needs an internet connection, and visitors should be able to understand the key information without relying on a special app.
For a QR code for restaurant menus, a static URL QR code encodes a fixed address. The content at that address can change without changing or reprinting the QR code; only changing the encoded destination requires a new static code. QREasy also offers dynamic QR codes that use a managed redirect, subject to plan limits. A hosted website does not need a dynamic QR merely because its content will be edited, and neither QR type guarantees scanning on every device.
QREasy supports Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Contact Wallet cards are included with Free; website-linked Wallet cards require Lite SME or Business. A website-linked QR opens the site in the phone browser, not inside Wallet. Google Wallet also provides a Visit Page link. Use the QREasy QR code generators and review information about QREasy for current platform details.
Compare Website Limits Across Free, Lite SME and Business
Plan choice depends on how many sites and pages you need, not on whether QREasy hosts a basic menu. Review the QREasy plans against the current scope of your restaurant presence. For one location with a concise menu, Free may be enough; choose Lite SME for the four-page template or website-linked Wallet support, and compare Business for multiple sites or deeper page structures.
