Plan the page around the enquiry
Before opening the editor, decide the action a visitor should take after reading: call, email, send a WhatsApp message or open a booking system operated by someone else. Define the audience and service area. A fictional independent consultant may want local organisations to request a discovery call, while a fictional photographer may want couples to view a portfolio and enquire by email.
A useful sequence answers four questions: What do you offer? Which service fits this visitor? What evidence can you show? How can they reach you? Keep the main explanation in plain language and put the contact route near the end. On a very short page, one prominent contact block may be enough.
- Opening: name the service and explain whom you help.
- Services: list a small set of clearly described offers.
- Examples: show representative work with concise context.
- Contact: present a direct route to an enquiry.
Build the one-page Services website
Start with the Services website template preview, which is designed to explain an offer and how to get in touch. It is a one-page starting point available on the Free plan, not a finished business profile. Replace the sample content, remove irrelevant blocks and keep only information that is accurate for the business.
In QREasy, choose from the available website templates, then add and arrange supported sections. Ordinary Text blocks can carry headings, descriptions and short notes, while Gallery can display photographs of completed work. A Free site can also use Links, Products, Social, Events and other supported sections. Contact and Save Contact are separate section types, so check the structure rather than assuming a service area includes them.
Preview the page at phone and desktop widths, check that links reach the intended destination and confirm that the order still makes sense. Viewers need an internet connection to reach the published site, so make sure the address, phone number and service description are readable as text rather than embedded in images. Keep essential details on the page itself rather than only inside a separate QR code.
Describe services and show relevant work
On a Free website, describe services and past work with ordinary Text and Gallery sections. For a fictional graphic designer, one Text block could explain brand identity work, a Gallery could show selected projects and another Text block could describe the process. Use real, approved examples for the actual business. Captions should explain scope, not imply results or endorsements that were not supplied.
The premium Service Grid section is different. It can be drafted before upgrading, but publishing it requires Lite SME or Business. Other premium section types and editorial layouts, including sliders and designated image sections, also require an eligible paid plan. Plan comparison is available on the QREasy plans page, so check section access before designing around a premium block.
Keep service descriptions concrete: state the problem addressed, what the engagement includes, who it suits and the next step. For past work, give each image a short caption that explains scope rather than making unsupported performance claims. If the business also offers scheduling, payment or other specialist services, it may describe them and use its own external process; QREasy’s limits do not ban a consultant’s wider offering.
Add contact routes without expecting an inbox
Add a Contact section with the phone number and email address, then use Links for WhatsApp or other direct routes. Save Contact can support a digital contact journey. These actions help a visitor start an enquiry; they do not prove that a message was delivered, read or answered. A phone call, email or WhatsApp conversation is not itself a confirmed appointment or reservation.
QREasy does not include a native customer contact form or an enquiry submission inbox. If enquiries need structured fields, file uploads or a managed response workflow, link to a separate form provider that the business already uses and label the destination clearly. Tell visitors what the external service does and where their information will go. An external booking provider may confirm reservations under its own rules, so check its actual workflow rather than assuming its capabilities.
- Telephone opens the visitor’s dialler with the business number.
- Email opens the visitor’s email channel with the business address.
- WhatsApp starts a chat in the relevant app.
- An external form or booking link opens a separate provider’s page.
Publish the site and choose the right QR
Publish the completed site and use its address as the stable destination for cards, flyers and social profiles. QREasy hosts the editable website, and the same address can display updated content. If the URL stays the same, visitors continue to reach the revised site through a printed QR code.
A static URL QR contains a fixed URL. The content served at that URL may change without changing or reprinting the code, including a webpage or PDF replaced at the same address. If the encoded URL itself changes, create a new static QR. A dynamic QR instead uses a managed redirect, so its destination can be changed without reprinting, subject to the plan’s limits.
Use the QR code generators to create the appropriate code. The Free plan includes one dynamic QR and unlimited static QR codes; Lite SME and Business allow more dynamic codes. Neither type guarantees scanning on every device, so test the devices and apps the business expects visitors to use. A hosted website does not require a dynamic QR merely because its content will be edited.
Choose between a contact card and a website-linked card
There are two different Wallet choices. A Contact Wallet card is included with Free and lets recipients review and save the business contact details in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. It is useful when the main goal is exchanging details. A static URL QR is not the same as a QR that embeds static vCard data.
A website-linked Wallet card requires Lite SME or Business. Its QR encodes the website URL, so scanning opens that site in the phone browser; the website does not run inside Wallet. Google Wallet also provides a Visit Page link. A card-review step is not required before the website opens, and saving a contact record remains a different action from visiting the site.
Choose a Contact card when saving details is the main purpose. Choose a website-linked card when visitors should browse services and examples before making contact. Review the current plan limits before publishing. Whichever route is used, test the complete journey: scan, open or save, then make a separate enquiry.
