What the Free Services Template Can Do
The template is not a prewritten consultancy profile. It provides a one-page framework that you fill with your own services, supporting text, images, contact details and links. That makes it useful when the priority is a clear introduction: what you offer, who it helps, what relevant examples to show and how an interested person should reach you.
Free websites can use Restaurant menu, Links, Products, Gallery, Text, Contact, Social, Save Contact and Events sections. For a consultant or similar provider, ordinary Text sections can explain services and past work, while Gallery can display photographs. Other starting points have different defaults: the business-card template starts with Save Contact, Contact and Links, so add Text or Gallery yourself if you need a fuller profile.
Not every polished block is part of the free package. Service Grid, Profile, Testimonials, FAQ, Process, locations, statistics, before-and-after comparisons and several media or download sections require Lite SME or Business before publication. Premium sections can be drafted before upgrading, but Free cannot publish them. Browse the broader website templates when comparing layout options.
Edit, Organize and Publish
Start with the page’s visitor path. Put the service summary and intended audience near the top, followed by concrete examples, a short explanation of the approach and clear contact links. Write specific section headings and keep each block focused on one decision. This structure works on a large screen while remaining readable on a phone.
QREasy lets you add and arrange supported sections with text, images, services, contact details and links. Preview the result before publishing, then publish from the editor. The website address remains the same when you later replace headings, images or copy, so visitors and printed QR labels can continue to use that address.
Remember that visitors need an internet connection to open the hosted site. Keep the published URL in your QR codes, business card materials and internal notes, because that same address can continue to display later content updates.
- List each service in plain language, then state the practical outcome or audience it serves.
- Use two or three representative Gallery images and explain their relevance in nearby text.
- Add contact details and links for a phone, email, WhatsApp, social profiles or a booking service you already use.
- Remove decorative or duplicated sections so the page remains easy to scan.
- Test the published page on a phone and over mobile data before sharing it widely.
Help Visitors Understand and Respond
The central task is comprehension, not decoration. A visitor should be able to identify the offer, recognize relevant experience, distinguish the next step and understand which external channel will open. Use the contact section to make the action explicit, such as calling, emailing or messaging on WhatsApp; avoid vague phrases that leave the visitor unsure what happens after clicking.
External booking links can open a separate provider that may handle reservations under its own rules. A phone call, email or WhatsApp message is an enquiry, not a confirmed booking by itself. QREasy does not provide a verified native contact form, enquiry inbox, appointment calendar, checkout, payment processing or automated confirmations. If you already use an external form, link to that provider rather than presenting it as a QREasy inbox.
For social proof, describe completed projects in Text and add photographs to Gallery. This is enough for many service providers on Free, although premium credibility strips, testimonials and before-and-after blocks need an eligible paid plan. If a separate booking or scheduling service is central to your business, explain it accurately and connect to that service without implying that the template performs the booking.
Connect QR Codes and Digital Business Cards
For a website QR, distinguish a fixed URL from embedded static vCard data. If the code encodes a fixed URL, you can replace the hosted page, or a PDF served at that same address, without changing or reprinting the code. Only a change to the encoded URL requires a new static QR. Editing a QREasy-hosted page therefore does not by itself justify a dynamic QR.
A dynamic QR uses a managed redirect whose destination can be changed without reprinting, subject to plan limits. Neither static nor dynamic codes guarantee scanning on every device, so test the code in the actual setting and on the phones you expect visitors to use. Use the QREasy QR code tools to create the relevant type, then check the result separately.
Digital business cards are a separate layer. QREasy supports cards for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, and free Contact Wallet cards can let recipients review and save contact details. A website-linked Wallet card requires Lite SME or Business. Scanning its QR opens the website in the phone browser, not inside Wallet; Google Wallet also provides a Visit Page link. For the distinction, see contact details versus a website-linked card.
When a Paid Plan Makes Sense
Moving to Lite SME or Business is justified when the page needs capabilities that Free cannot publish, when you operate more than one site, or when the business card should open the website. Paid plans also unlock website-linked Wallet cards. The upgrade decision should follow a present requirement rather than a guess about future traffic.
Compare those limits with the QREasy plans before choosing. For a solo provider, the free one-page site can be enough for a focused offer. For a team managing several locations or client sites, the higher page and website allowances may remove a practical bottleneck; premium layouts or a website-linked card can also be the reason to upgrade.
