What the small restaurant template includes
The Simple restaurant template is designed to share a menu, location and hours on one editable page. It is available on the Free plan, and its preview represents a one-page template rather than a multi-page website. You can preview the Simple restaurant template before editing, then add and arrange supported sections with text, images, contact details and links.
Use the editor to replace fictional sample content with your own dishes, prices, address, opening times and contact details. When you publish, QREasy hosts the site at a website address, and later edits can appear at that same address. If the starting structure does not suit your restaurant, browse the available website templates and compare their initial content before choosing.
- Replace every fictional restaurant name, dish, price and business detail.
- Keep the first page focused on what customers need before arriving.
- Check the editor for the actual menu, location, hours and contact sections.
- Add only contact routes that your team monitors consistently.
Personalize the menu, gallery, location and hours
Begin with the Restaurant menu section. Add dish names, short descriptions and prices, and include allergen or dietary information only when you can keep it accurate and current. Because the sample restaurant is fictional, remove every demonstration item rather than leaving sample dishes beside your real menu. Put the most relevant choices first so visitors can understand the offering without scrolling through extra text.
Use Gallery for photographs of the food, dining area or atmosphere, and use ordinary Text sections for information that does not fit the menu. Add the full address, city, opening days and actual service hours. State whether the times apply to the kitchen, bar or dining service when that distinction matters. Check names, spelling, prices and dates on a phone before publishing.
- Menu: use clear item names, useful descriptions and current prices.
- Gallery: show representative photographs rather than decorative stock images.
- Location: include the full address and practical directions for finding the restaurant.
- Hours: list opening days and separate service periods when relevant.
Which sections are free and publishable
Free websites can publish the Restaurant menu, Links, Products, Gallery, Text, Contact, Social, Save Contact and Events sections. Ordinary Text sections can explain services or past work, while Gallery can display photographs. Check the template’s starting content separately: a section supported by QREasy is not automatically present in the restaurant template, and you must add it before publishing.
Some richer blocks require Lite SME or Business, including music, video, channels, downloads, call-to-action, image, premium gallery, service grid, FAQ, publications, credibility strip, locations, statistics strip, before-and-after, profile, team grid, testimonials, process and technology-list sections. Editorial layouts and image sliders are also paid features. A premium section may be drafted on Free, but it cannot be published until you upgrade.
Start with the blocks needed for a visitor’s decision: menu, practical information and contact routes. Then add decorative features only when they answer a real question. This keeps the page easy to scan on a phone and avoids expanding the site simply because a more elaborate block is available.
- Free: use the listed free sections for the essential restaurant information.
- Paid: treat premium blocks as optional additions that require Lite SME or Business to publish.
- Workflow: add, arrange and review each section before completing publication.
How visitors can contact or book
For enquiries, the restaurant template can expose a phone link, an email link, WhatsApp or a link to an external booking service. Each action opens that external channel. QREasy does not provide a verified native customer contact form or an enquiry-submission inbox, so do not describe an address field as though messages will arrive in the site editor.
An external booking provider may offer its own confirmation process under its own rules. A WhatsApp message, email or phone request is an enquiry, not automatically a confirmed table reservation. Explain what visitors should expect, such as whether they should wait for a reply or complete the provider’s process. Avoid promising availability, confirmation, payment or reminders that your chosen channel does not actually provide.
If you already use a separate booking or enquiry form, publish its link only when that provider is where your team receives and manages requests. QREasy can direct visitors to it, but it does not replace the provider’s availability rules, payment tools or recordkeeping.
- Phone: label the action clearly and use it for questions your team answers.
- Email: include an address that reaches the correct restaurant contact.
- WhatsApp: use it only when staff monitor and respond to messages.
- Booking: direct visitors to the external provider and describe the next step.
Connect QR codes and digital business cards
A static URL QR contains a fixed address. Content served at that address can change without changing or reprinting the code — including a hosted webpage or a PDF replaced at the same URL. Print a new static QR only if the encoded URL changes. Dynamic QR uses a managed redirect, so its destination can change without reprinting, subject to plan limits. A hosted website does not require a dynamic QR merely to edit its content.
QREasy provides digital business cards for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Free includes Contact Wallet cards and the first one-page website. Website-linked Wallet cards require Lite SME or Business. A supported Wallet journey can let recipients review and save contact details or open the QREasy website. For a website-linked card, scanning its QR opens the site in the phone browser, not as a website running inside Wallet. Google Wallet also includes a Visit Page link.
Neither QR type guarantees a successful scan on every device. [Explore the QR code generators] to create a code for the published address, or follow the guide to creating a website-link QR for the basic steps. Test the exact code in the place where customers will encounter it.
- Publish the restaurant website before generating a QR that points to it.
- Choose static QR for a fixed address and dynamic QR when you need a managed redirect.
- Test the printed size, contrast and surrounding placement before a full print run.
- Offer a Wallet card alongside, rather than instead of, a visible contact route.
Choose a plan and publish the site
The Free plan is enough to publish this one-page restaurant site: it includes one website, one page per site, one dynamic QR code, unlimited static QR codes, seven days of analytics history and Contact Wallet cards. Use compare QREasy plans before upgrading; the main reasons are usually a website-linked Wallet card, more sites or pages, additional dynamic codes or longer analytics history.
Lite SME provides three websites, up to four pages each, 50 dynamic QR codes, unlimited static QR codes and 90 days of analytics history. Business provides 33 websites, up to 10 pages each, 357 dynamic QR codes, unlimited static QR codes and 90 days of analytics history. Both paid tiers include website-linked Wallet cards. Review the current plan details before purchasing, especially for a restaurant group managing several sites.
- Free: EUR 0.00 monthly or EUR 0.00 annually.
- Lite SME: EUR 2.99 monthly or EUR 28.70 annually.
- Business: EUR 9.99 monthly or EUR 95.90 annually.
- Before publishing: test every link, scan each QR and confirm that the menu and hours are current.
