Understand the Template Before You Edit
The Weddings & events template is a premium QREasy starting point for sharing celebrations, planning information, and availability in a polished three-page site. Lite SME or Business is required to use it, independently of whether you create a Wallet card. You can preview the Weddings & events template or browse other website templates before editing.
The default template begins with editable Text, Links, and Contact sections. It does not arrive with a dedicated scheduling, registration, payment, or enquiry-inbox system. Gallery, Events, and additional blocks are sections you choose to add, so the finished site reflects your own structure. Keep availability wording informational because the site routes contact actions rather than confirming reservations.
Plan the Three Pages Around the Visitor Journey
Map each page to one visitor task. Keep the opening page welcoming, use the second for the story and timeline, and reserve the third for practical details. This fictional structure works for a planner presenting a wedding weekend, a couple announcing an event, or a supplier team explaining an occasion. Clear page titles and navigation make the three-page format easier to use on a phone.
In the editor, replace the starting copy first, then add or arrange the sections needed for each page. Use one idea per Text section and keep the page title aligned with its purpose. Preview every navigation path, especially the route from an invitation or QR scan to the contact details. A three-page template is still a small site, so clear hierarchy matters more than filling every available block.
- Home: Introduce the couple or event, add a short invitation, and give the main next step.
- Story: Explain the theme, people, schedule, or planning process with concise Text sections.
- Details: Bring together location notes, timing, attendee guidance, contact details, and approved external links.
Add Useful Content Without Overloading the Site
Use ordinary Text to explain the celebration, the planning approach, what guests should bring, and how the day will unfold. Add a Gallery for photographs and an Events section for individual moments, appearances, or programme items. Gallery and Events are free website sections in QREasy, but they are not automatically present in this template; add them deliberately when the material fits the page.
Availability should be presented as ordinary, dated wording rather than a live calendar or real-time inventory. Services can remain in Text sections, or you can use a premium Service Grid when the paid plan supports it. Premium Image, editorial layout, and image-slider blocks are also plan-dependent; they may be drafted on Free but cannot be published there. Always check the final section list against your plan.
- Story and people: Introduce the couple, hosts, suppliers, or planning team without turning the page into a résumé.
- Gallery: Use a small, coherent set of images that helps visitors understand the atmosphere and setting.
- Events: List occasions or schedule items, then point to a separate RSVP or booking service only when one is actually used.
Use Contact and Links as Handoffs, Not a Booking Engine
The template’s Contact and Links areas are the right place for phone, email, WhatsApp, and external booking destinations. These actions open the relevant external channel, so visitors can choose how to respond. Treat a phone call, email, or WhatsApp message as an enquiry, not a confirmed reservation. Give each link a specific label, such as call the planners, ask about the date, or open the booking provider.
An external booking provider may confirm reservations under its own rules; QREasy does not determine that provider’s functions. QREasy does not provide a verified native contact form or enquiry-submission inbox. If you need a form, link to a separate provider you already use and label it as external. Do not imply that the QREasy page handles appointments, live availability, automated confirmations, orders, checkout, payment processing, or another business system.
Publish, Update, and Share the Right Way
Publish from QREasy when the pages, links, and mobile layout pass review. The hosted website then becomes available at its assigned address and requires an internet connection to view. If you later replace the wording, photographs, or gallery, the same address can show the updated content. Review the live page after every important change rather than relying only on the editor preview.
Neither static nor dynamic QR codes guarantee scanning on every device, so test them with the devices and conditions you expect guests to use. Choose the appropriate option in the QREasy QR code generators, print a test copy where relevant, and verify that it opens the intended live address.
You can also share the site through a Wallet card. Contact Wallet cards are free, while a Wallet card linked to a website requires Lite SME or Business. Its QR opens the website in the phone browser; it does not run the website inside Wallet. Google Wallet also provides a Visit Page link. Learn more about QREasy before deciding how to combine printed QR codes, contact details, and digital sharing.
- Static URL QR: The code contains a fixed URL. Content at that URL can change without changing or reprinting the QR; only a different encoded URL requires a new static code.
- Dynamic QR: A managed redirect lets you change the destination without reprinting, subject to plan limits. A hosted QREasy website does not require a dynamic QR merely because its content will be edited.
Choose a Plan and Run a Publishing Check
Choose the plan before investing time in a structure the account cannot publish. The three-page premium template requires Lite SME or Business; that restriction is separate from the paid requirement for website-linked Wallet cards. Review the current QREasy plans, including page capacity, QR limits, analytics history, and price.
For one wedding or event site, Lite SME provides enough pages for the three-page template while leaving room for another small site. Business is the relevant option when you expect many separate sites, deeper page capacity, or more dynamic QR codes. Free remains useful for a simple one-page website and contact Wallet card, but it cannot publish this premium template or the other paid-only section types.
Before launch, open the published site on a phone and a desktop, follow every internal and external link, test each contact action, and verify that wording distinguishes information from booking. Test the final QR from the format you will use, check the Wallet path if used, and confirm that the shared page opens the current version. Keep an editor checklist so later content changes preserve that routing.
