Start with a one-page artist website
The artist template is built around a single editable page for presenting art, music and upcoming dates. Explore the artist website template preview before opening the editor, then replace the demonstration content with your own material. Because the default template contains one page and is available on Free, it works as a focused portfolio or contact page rather than a multi-page site.
In the editor, choose the template, add supported sections and arrange them in the order visitors should meet them. Add a Text block for a short introduction, use Gallery for images, and describe services or an artist biography in ordinary Text sections. Add Contact, Social, Save Contact or Links where they help someone move from looking to making contact. The published site is hosted by QREasy and requires an internet connection.
For a broader workflow, the guide to building an artist website with QREasy explains how the content can be adapted for a musician, photographer, illustrator or small studio. Keep the first version short: one clear statement of what you do, a compact selection of work and a direct next step are usually more useful than filling every available section.
Separate free content from premium presentation
Free websites can publish these section types: Restaurant menu, Links, Products, Gallery, Text, Contact, Social, Save Contact and Events. For an artist, Text can describe commissions, lessons or creative services without implying access to the premium Service Grid block. Gallery can display photographs, and Events can present upcoming dates; neither creates a native registration or booking system.
- Free foundation: Use Text and Gallery to introduce the artist, explain services and show finished work.
- Event display: Use Events to publish dates and details, then add an external link if registration or booking happens elsewhere.
- Premium upgrade: Music, video, channels, downloads, cta, image, premium-gallery and service-grid require Lite SME or Business to publish.
- More premium blocks: faq, publications, credibility-strip, locations, stats-strip, before-after, profile, team-grid, testimonials, process and technology-list also require a paid plan.
- Paid layouts: Editorial layouts and image sliders require Lite SME or Business; premium sections can be drafted on Free but not published there.
Update one URL and choose the right QR type
After publishing, keep the website address and update the hosted content whenever your portfolio, service list or event details change. Visitors continue to see the same address, and a QR that encodes that URL does not need to be reprinted merely because the underlying page was edited.
A static URL QR contains a fixed web address. It is a practical choice for a permanent location such as a studio wall, portfolio or printed leaflet when the content at that address may change. Only changing the address encoded in the QR requires a new static code. Do not confuse it with a QR that embeds static vCard contact data.
A dynamic QR uses a managed redirect, so its destination can be changed subject to plan limits. That is useful when you need to switch destinations without replacing printed materials. However, a hosted QREasy website does not require a dynamic QR simply to edit its content. Use the QR code generators to compare options, and remember that neither QR type guarantees scanning on every device.
Connect Wallet cards and external enquiries
QREasy supports digital business cards for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. A recipient can review and save contact details, or open a website created with QREasy. Contact Wallet cards are free, while a Wallet card linked to a website requires Lite SME or Business. The paid distinction concerns the website-linked card, not access to the one-page website itself.
For a website-linked Wallet card, the card’s QR encodes the website URL. Scanning it opens the site in the phone browser; the website does not run inside Wallet. Google Wallet also provides a Visit Page link. Plan the card as a bridge to the hosted page, rather than as a separate portfolio editor.
For enquiries, use contact details or links that open an external channel such as phone, email, WhatsApp or a booking provider you already use. QREasy does not provide a native contact-form submission inbox, appointment scheduling, registration, checkout or payment processing. If you include an external form, it belongs to a separate provider and opens outside QREasy; that provider may confirm bookings under its own rules.
Match the plan to your site, QR and card needs
The main differences are the number of sites, pages, dynamic QR codes, analytics history and access to website-linked Wallet cards. Compare the QREasy plans before committing, especially if a second site or a paid presentation block will be needed soon. If you need another layout, you can also browse the available website templates.
