Confirm the template and plan first
The eye care website template preview shows a four-page starting point for introducing specialist care and consultation options. It is not a one-page preview. Because this is a premium template, you need Lite SME or Business to use it; this condition exists independently of whether you create any Wallet card.
The Free allowance includes one website with up to one page, but that does not unlock the four-page eye care template. Free also includes contact Wallet cards. If you want a Wallet card that opens a QREasy website, that feature requires Lite SME or Business. Review both requirements as separate decisions rather than assuming either one includes the other.
- List the service topics and patient tasks you want to cover across four pages.
- Check Lite SME or Business for the template and the linked Wallet card separately.
- Decide whether you need a contact-saving card, a website-linked card, or both.
Build a useful, editable practice website
Open the website builder and choose the eye care template from the available website templates. QREasy hosts small websites: you add and arrange supported sections containing text, images, services, contact details and links, then publish. Treat the four template pages as an editable structure, not a finished description of your practice.
For example, a fictional sample practice could use plain Text sections to introduce consultation options and its approach. Use Gallery for photographs of the practice, team or past work. Ordinary Text and Gallery are available on a Free website, so you can describe services and show photos of your work without needing premium blocks such as Service Grid, Profile or Editorial Image.
Plan each page around a clear patient task: an overview, consultation information, services and contact routes. Keep text concise, use images you have permission to publish, and arrange the sections so contact details and relevant links are easy to find. The eye care practice website guide offers a practical editing sequence to adapt before you publish.
- Text: introduce the practice, consultation options and service scope.
- Gallery: show suitable photos without presenting them as guaranteed outcomes.
- Contact and Links: provide phone, email, WhatsApp or external booking routes.
- Publish: check accuracy, section order and links before making the address public.
Link a QR code to the published website
Once the site is published, copy its website address and open the QREasy QR code generators. For ordinary website sharing, a static URL QR is a simple choice: it encodes that exact address, and scanning opens it in the phone browser.
A static QR does not freeze the content behind its URL. If you replace or update the hosted page at the same address, the same printed code can lead to the revised material; you do not need a dynamic QR merely to edit a QREasy website. If you change the encoded address itself, you need a new static QR.
A dynamic QR instead uses a managed redirect, so its destination can be changed without reprinting the code, subject to the limits of your plan. Neither static nor dynamic QR codes guarantee that every device will scan them, so test the final code in the environments where you intend to use it.
- Same URL, updated content: keep using the existing static QR.
- Different URL: generate a new static QR.
- Redirect needed: consider a dynamic QR within your plan allowance.
- Final check: test the printed or displayed code on intended devices.
Choose the right Wallet sharing route
Wallet sharing has two distinct journeys. A contact Wallet card is designed for recipients to review and save contact details. A website-linked Wallet card opens a website created with QREasy. Contact Wallet cards are included with Free; website-linked Wallet cards require Lite SME or Business.
The QR on a website-linked Wallet card encodes the website URL. Scanning it opens that site in the phone browser, not as a website running inside Wallet. Google Wallet also provides a Visit Page link for the website. Do not confuse this browser route with the card-saving journey: saving contact details and opening a site are different actions.
Choose a contact card when the main goal is to make the practice's contact details easy to save. Choose a website-linked card when the recipient should see the fuller practice website. Check the card requirement separately from the template requirement, because a paid plan can satisfy both without making them the same feature.
- Contact card: recipients review and save contact details.
- Website-linked card: recipients open the QREasy website URL.
- Google Wallet: the Visit Page link opens the website.
- Browser route: scanning does not launch a site running inside Wallet.
Set up contact and enquiry routes accurately
Use supported Text, Contact and Links sections to give patients direct routes to the practice. A phone link opens the dialler, an email link starts an email, and a WhatsApp link opens that external conversation. These are convenient hand-offs to external channels, not native enquiries collected in QREasy.
QREasy does not provide a native contact form or enquiry submission inbox. If the practice already uses a separate booking or enquiry provider, you may link to it. That provider may handle form submissions and may confirm reservations, subject to its own rules. The mere presence of an external booking link does not mean confirmations are impossible.
Describe those routes accurately in the website. For example, a fictional consultant might say that enquiries are answered by email or that bookings are handled through an external provider. Do not say that QREasy schedules appointments, checks calendar availability, sends automated confirmations, processes payments or manages a practice CRM. Any scheduling or payment service belongs to the consultant's own process.
- Phone and email: open the corresponding device action.
- WhatsApp: open an external conversation with the practice.
- External booking: use the provider's own rules for availability and confirmations.
- QREasy itself: no native form, enquiry inbox, scheduling, checkout or payment processing.
Review requirements before publishing
Before launch, compare the finished site with the QREasy plans. On Free, the allowance is one website with up to one page, one dynamic QR, unlimited static QR codes and seven days of analytics history. That allowance does not unlock the four-page eye care template.
Lite SME allows three websites with up to four pages each, 50 dynamic QR codes, unlimited static QR codes and 90 days of analytics history. Business allows 33 websites with up to ten pages each, 357 dynamic QR codes, unlimited static QR codes and 90 days of analytics history. Website access also needs an internet connection when a visitor opens the published site.
Check premium section types before relying on them. Music, video, channels, downloads, calls to action, image, premium gallery, service grid, FAQ, publications, credibility strip, locations, statistics strip, before-and-after, profile, team grid, testimonials, process and technology list require Lite SME or Business to publish. Editorial layouts and image sliders also require a paid plan. Premium sections can be drafted before upgrading but cannot be published on Free.
- Preview: inspect all four pages on mobile and desktop.
- Publishing: confirm your plan supports every section used.
- QR: verify the destination and test the code on target devices.
- Analytics: know how much scan history your plan retains.
- Access: confirm the published website loads for visitors.
