Start with the right template
Start by comparing what each template already contains. A Business Card template begins with Save Contact, Contact, and Links; it does not include a prebuilt services area. An Event template begins with editable Text, Links, and Contact, but it is not a registration or scheduling system. For a consultant, add ordinary Text for a profile or service descriptions and Gallery for photographs or past work.
Restaurant and beauty templates can present enquiry channels directly. Compare the starting content with the information customers need: a restaurant may need a menu and booking route, while a beauty salon may need services, team details, photographs, and a contact method. Verify that every required section is available on the intended plan before choosing.
Use a short selection checklist: Which details must be visible immediately? Which action should customers take? Is one page enough? Will the business later need multiple pages, an external booking provider, or a website-linked Wallet card? The business-card website template guide offers a contact-site model, but the final choice should follow your own customer journey.
Choose, edit and publish the website
Open a suitable template in QREasy and work through it section by section. Replace sample copy, add or remove supported sections, arrange their order, and give each one a clear task. Use Text for straightforward descriptions, Gallery for visual examples, and Contact or Links for phone, email, WhatsApp, or other external destinations. Preview the page on mobile and desktop before publishing.
Replace placeholder details with current information and remove anything irrelevant. Keep the menu current, name services accurately, and make images representative of the business. Ordinary Text and Gallery sections may remain on Free; they are not the premium Service Grid, Profile, or Editorial Image options. Arrange the main customer action before secondary information so visitors can respond quickly.
After publishing, open the public address on an internet-connected device and follow every link. A phone link should reach the business number, an email link should open an email, and a WhatsApp or booking link should lead to the appropriate service. If the business already uses a separate scheduling, ordering, payment, or registration provider, describe that offer accurately and link to the provider; its functionality and confirmation rules remain outside QREasy.
Understand free and premium sections
QREasy divides sections into a practical free core and a set of paid presentation options. A Free site can describe services and past work in ordinary Text and display photos in Gallery. The section types have the following availability:
- Free sections: Restaurant menu, Links, Products, Gallery, Text, Contact, Social, Save Contact, and Events.
- Premium media and discovery: music, video, channels, downloads, cta, image, and premium-gallery.
- Premium business and trust content: service-grid, faq, publications, credibility-strip, locations, stats-strip, profile, team-grid, testimonials, process, and technology-list.
- Premium visual options: before-after, editorial layouts, and image sliders.
- Premium sections may be drafted before upgrading, but they cannot be published on Free. Publishing them requires Lite SME or Business.
Handle enquiries, reservations and events
Use the Event section to publish event information, but do not present it as a ticket desk. The Event template’s initial Text, Links, and Contact sections can direct visitors to an external registration or enquiry channel, yet no native registration workflow is included. Likewise, a restaurant or beauty salon can link to a booking service it already uses, but the template itself is not the booking system.
An external booking provider may support confirmations under its own rules. A phone, email, or WhatsApp enquiry does not by itself confirm a reservation. QREasy has no native contact form, enquiry submission inbox, appointment scheduling, calendar availability, automated confirmations, ordering, checkout, payment processing, inventory, or property CRM. A consultant may still offer scheduling, payment collection or similar services through the business's own processes; describe and link those processes accurately.
Connect QR codes with Wallet cards
QR codes and Wallet cards solve different tasks. A QR attached to a menu, reception desk, package, or printed promotion can lead to a URL, while a Wallet card stores contact details or provides a route to a website. Use the QREasy QR code generators for the code workflow and the digital business card creator for the contact-card workflow.
Choose the QR type according to what may change:
For Wallet, a Contact Wallet card lets recipients review and save contact details and is included with Free. A website-linked card requires Lite SME or Business; its QR encodes the website URL, so scanning opens the site in the phone browser rather than running it inside Wallet. Google Wallet also includes a Visit Page link.
- Static URL QR: it encodes a fixed URL. Content at that same URL can change without changing or reprinting the code, including a hosted webpage or a PDF replaced at the same URL. Only changing the encoded URL requires a new static code.
- Dynamic QR: it uses a managed redirect whose destination can change without reprinting, subject to plan limits.
- A hosted website does not require a dynamic QR merely to edit its content. Neither type guarantees scanning on every device, and a static URL QR is not the same as static vCard data embedded in the code itself.
Compare Free, Lite SME and Business
The right plan depends on site count, page depth, QR volume, analytics history, and Wallet needs. Review the exact allowances on the QREasy plans page, then compare them with the planned structure rather than buying for features the business will not use.
Free suits a single-page contact or simple business presence built from core sections. Lite SME is the practical step when the business needs up to four pages, premium publishing, or a Wallet card that opens its website. Business fits organizations that need 33 sites, up to ten pages per site, or a higher dynamic QR allowance.
Before choosing, map each planned page, dynamic QR destination change, and Wallet use case to the allowances. Then open the chosen template, remove unused defaults, add the required sections, and publish only after checking links and the mobile display.
