What the restaurant website template includes
The Simple restaurant template is available on Free and uses a one-page format for presenting a menu, location, and hours. Before creating a site, preview the Simple restaurant template and check whether its basic structure suits your restaurant, café, or takeaway business. Replace all demonstration content with accurate information.
Free website sections include Restaurant menu, Links, Products, Gallery, Text, Contact, Social, Save Contact, and Events. These provide enough building blocks for a focused site: dishes or products, photographs, opening times, contact links, social profiles, and event information. You can add and arrange supported sections, then publish an editable site at a QREasy-hosted address.
A one-page format is sensible when customers mainly need to browse, find you, and make contact. Keep the main path prominent: menu first, then location and hours, followed by contact options. If the restaurant already relies on a separate ordering or reservation system, link to it rather than trying to reproduce its full process in the website.
How to choose and personalize the template
Open browse the website templates and compare the restaurant option with one or two alternatives. Choose the design that helps visitors find the menu fastest, rather than the one with the most decorative sections. Check the visible sections, mobile readability, and how naturally your contact actions fit into the page.
Before editing, list the information you can maintain accurately: current dishes or products, prices if you want to publish them, opening days, phone number, email address, address, and booking link. Read the practical guide to small-restaurant website templates for a wider content and image checklist, then gather original photos.
In QREasy, replace the sample text, add or rearrange supported sections, insert your images and links, and check every detail before publishing. Afterward, open the website address on a phone and a computer with an internet connection. When you update the menu or hours, publish again; the same website address can show the revised content.
Present the menu, products, location, and hours
Use the Restaurant menu section for dishes and the Products section for items you want to present as individual offers. Add concise descriptions and prices where appropriate, but do not present the page as live stock control. QREasy does not manage inventory, ordering, checkout, or payment processing, so a customer cannot complete an order through the website by itself.
Show the location and opening hours in clear Text or Contact content: street address, service options such as dine-in or takeaway, opening days, and the hours for each day. A dedicated Locations section type requires Lite SME or Business to publish; the restaurant template itself is available on Free. That distinction helps you plan a simple upgrade rather than replacing the whole site.
Use Gallery for photographs of the dining area, food, team, and exterior, while keeping captions relevant to what visitors need to know. Do not rely on a photo to communicate an address, allergy policy, or opening time; place those details in text as well. This makes the page more useful and easier to maintain.
Set up enquiries and reservation channels
Restaurant templates can direct enquiries through phone, email, WhatsApp, or an external booking link. Each action opens the relevant external channel, so the site does not need to become a customer-relationship system. Use labels that state the next step rather than promising a completed reservation.
QREasy does not include a native enquiry form, submission inbox, appointment scheduling, calendar availability, or automated reservation confirmations. If the business already uses a separate form or booking provider, you may link to it; that provider controls its own functions and confirmation rules. A call, email, or WhatsApp message is not itself a confirmed reservation.
- Call: use it for questions or bookings taken by the restaurant.
- Email: state the topic and when you normally reply.
- WhatsApp: explain that a message starts the enquiry.
- Booking link: name the provider and confirm that the booking finishes there.
Connect the website with QR codes and Wallet cards
Once the site is published, open create a QR code with the QREasy generators and choose a static URL QR pointing to the website address. The code stores a fixed URL, while the hosted page at that URL can change. If you edit the menu, hours, or photographs, you can publish the update without changing or reprinting the QR.
A dynamic QR uses a managed redirect whose destination can be changed without reprinting, subject to the plan’s QR limits. It is useful only when you need that redirect flexibility; a hosted website does not require a dynamic QR merely because its content changes. A static URL QR also differs from embedded static vCard data, and neither QR type guarantees scanning on every device, so test the actual placement.
For Wallet, Free includes contact Wallet cards for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, allowing recipients to review and save contact details. Lite SME or Business is required for a website-linked Wallet card. Its QR encodes the website URL and opens the site in the phone browser, not as a website running inside Wallet. Google Wallet also provides a Visit Page link.
Choose a plan and complete the pre-publication check
Start with compare QREasy plans and choose based on how many sites, pages, and dynamic QR codes you genuinely need. All three plans include unlimited static QR codes. The restaurant template itself remains a sensible Free starting point; paid features are useful only when they match a real publishing or distribution task.
