What the photographer website template offers
The photographer template is a premium four-page starting point for showing a portfolio and booking links. Review the photographer website template preview before editing so you can map its pages to your content. The preview represents a four-page template; it is not a one-page website.
In the editor, QREasy lets you add and arrange supported sections containing text, images, services, contact details and links. The template supplies a structure, while the finished site depends on the blocks you keep, add and fill. If you prefer another visual direction, compare the wider website templates before creating the site.
Using this template requires Lite SME or Business, even if you do not create a Wallet card. That is a template-plan rule, not a consequence of Wallet features. After publication, QREasy hosts the editable website and can continue serving updated content from the same address.
Plan four pages around client decisions
A useful four-page plan gives each page one client question to answer: who you are, what you have made, what you offer, and how to continue. The following structure suits a fictional independent portrait photographer, but the same logic works for other specialties.
These are recommended sections, not a claim that every block is preloaded. The photographer template contains four pages, but check the editor to see what starts in place. Add or arrange Text, Gallery, Links, Contact and other supported sections according to the content you actually need.
- Page 1 — Introduction: Add a concise Text section naming your location, specialty and photographic approach, followed by a small Gallery of signature images.
- Page 2 — Portfolio: Build Gallery sections around relevant themes, such as portraits, editorial work or events, so visitors can scan the body of work by theme.
- Page 3 — Services: Explain packages, deliverables, typical process and exclusions. Give clients enough detail to identify the right service without crowding the page.
- Page 4 — Contact: Add contact details and a clearly labelled booking link, plus a short note explaining how you prefer enquiries to be handled.
Show work, services and contact details
Let the images lead. Use Gallery sections for selected work, then use Text to explain the brief, location, constraints and intended outcome. Captions should help visitors understand the story rather than merely repeat what they see. Edit the balance between images and copy as the portfolio develops.
Describe services in plain language. A Free website can use ordinary Text sections for this purpose, while premium blocks such as Service Grid, Profile, editorial layouts and image sliders require Lite SME or Business before publication. In the photographer template, use premium blocks only when they improve navigation.
For enquiries, use available Contact and Links controls to present phone, email, WhatsApp or an external booking URL. Each action opens the relevant external channel. QREasy does not include a native customer contact form, enquiry inbox or appointment scheduler. You may link a separate form, but it remains on that provider. A booking provider may confirm reservations under its own rules; a phone, email or WhatsApp message alone is not a confirmed booking.
Choose the right QR code for the portfolio
After publishing, generate a QR code that points to the live website address. The QREasy QR code generators can create a static URL QR for the site. For most photographer portfolios, this is the simplest choice: the encoded address stays fixed, while images, text and other content at the hosted address can change without changing the QR.
Use a dynamic QR when you need a managed redirect whose destination can change later. Dynamic codes are governed by plan limits, so this flexibility is useful only when you have a reason to change the target. A hosted website does not need a dynamic QR merely because its content will be edited.
Do not confuse a static URL QR with embedded static vCard data: the former opens a web address, while the latter stores contact details. Neither type guarantees scanning on every device, and a website QR opens in the phone browser rather than inside Wallet. Test the final code on the devices and places you expect to use.
Preview, edit and publish the website
Begin with the template preview and decide what belongs on each page before uploading final imagery. In the editor, work page by page: add or arrange sections, write the copy, place images, and label contact and booking actions. The preview is a planning view; publishing is the separate step that makes the site available through its website address.
Keep navigation simple by linking from one portfolio page to the next and repeating a clear booking action where useful. Check that every contact link opens the intended channel and that the service text distinguishes an enquiry from a confirmed reservation. If you use an external form, describe it as a link to a separate provider rather than a QREasy form.
Publish after the images, text and links are ready. QREasy hosts the editable site, and later revisions can appear at the same address without creating a new destination. Visitors need internet access to open it. After publication, test both the site and its QR code, then revise pages when projects, services or linked booking pages change.
Understand which features require a paid plan
The photographer template cannot be published on Free. Compare QREasy plans before choosing: Free is EUR 0.00, Lite SME is EUR 2.99 monthly (EUR 28.70 annually), and Business is EUR 9.99 monthly (EUR 95.90 annually). Free includes one website with up to one page, Lite SME includes three websites with up to four pages each, and Business includes 33 websites with up to ten pages each. The template itself requires Lite SME or Business, independently of Wallet-card use.
Several presentation blocks also require a paid plan. Premium section types—including advanced image layouts, image sliders, Service Grid, FAQ, Profile, team, testimonials, process and locations—cannot be published on Free. They may be drafted before upgrading. Free websites can still use ordinary Text, Gallery, Links and Contact sections.
QR limits differ too: Free allows one dynamic QR, Lite SME 50 and Business 357; static QR codes are unlimited on all three. Website-linked Wallet cards are included with Lite SME and Business, not Free. These Wallet limits are separate from the photographer-template requirement, so assess them only if you also want a Wallet card.
