1. Decide what the contact page must accomplish
Begin with the couple’s decision, not a list of features. State the services you handle, the event types you cover, and the information needed to start a conversation. Replace vague claims with concrete details you can substantiate, such as planning support, venue coordination, or a defined service area.
Next, decide how the three template pages work together. One page can focus on enquiries, another on services, and another on selected work, while preserving a coherent path through the site. Keep the contact page concise and move long background material to the page where it supports a decision.
- Service summary: explain what you coordinate.
- Experience: select weddings or events you can show.
- Next step: offer a call, message, or external booking link.
- Response note: state when you will reply, if you can maintain it.
2. Choose and set up the Weddings & events template
Preview the Weddings & events template before building. Its default contains three pages and begins with editable Text, Links, and Contact sections. These are starting blocks, not a dedicated scheduling area or registration form, and the preview must not be treated as a one-page design.
Create the website, choose the template, and understand the initial structure before replacing its sample content. If another template better matches your brand, browse the available website templates instead. The goal is to preserve a clear contact route while making the visual structure fit your work.
The Weddings & events template requires Lite SME or Business to use, regardless of whether you create a Wallet card. Check QREasy plans before editing so you know which sections and publishing features fit the selected plan. This template requirement is separate from Wallet behavior.
- Confirm the paid-plan requirement for the template.
- Keep one obvious route to enquiries on every page.
- Add Text or Gallery sections where they answer a visitor question.
3. Present services and previous work
Ordinary Text and Gallery sections are free website sections. Use Text for a short planner profile, service descriptions, planning stages, and the information a couple should send. Add Gallery sections for photographs from previous weddings. These can be added because the default template does not include a prebuilt services area.
Keep each section focused. A service block can name the offer, explain the scope, and identify the next action. A gallery image should have an accurate caption that gives useful context without exposing private guest details. If you need richer layouts, check plan requirements before relying on premium blocks such as Service Grid, Profile, testimonials, or editorial image treatments.
- Write one plain sentence for each service.
- Show only work you have permission to publish.
- Use captions for context, not as dense paragraphs.
- Give every services section a visible contact route.
4. Connect every enquiry route
QREasy does not provide a verified native customer contact form or enquiry inbox. The Contact and Links sections are launch points: a phone action opens the dialer, an email action opens the mail application, and a WhatsApp action opens the relevant chat. Each of these actions hands the visitor over to a channel outside QREasy.
If you already use an external provider for enquiries or reservations, add its link and label it clearly. An external form is only a link to a separate provider already used by your business. That provider may confirm reservations under its own rules. QREasy does not determine its functionality, store the enquiry, schedule the event, process payment, or send a reservation confirmation; those services remain the business’s separate process.
Make the labels specific enough to prevent confusion. Use the exact service names shown in your business, not invented details. If several routes are useful, explain when to use each one and include a response-time statement only if you can reliably maintain it. A direct message is an enquiry, not a confirmed booking.
- Phone: use for a direct conversation.
- Email: use for detailed briefs or documents.
- WhatsApp: use for quick questions and coordination.
- External provider: label its booking or enquiry purpose clearly.
5. Publish, share, and add a QR code
Publish the site before distributing it. QREasy hosts the editable website, and the same website address can show later content updates. Anyone opening it needs an internet connection, so test the live page rather than judging only the editor. Update the same address whenever the copy, gallery, or contact details change.
For a stable public address, use the QREasy QR code generators to create a static URL QR code pointing to the published site. The encoded URL stays fixed, while content served at that address can change without reprinting the code. You need a new static QR only if the encoded URL itself changes. This differs from embedding static contact-card data in a QR code.
A dynamic QR uses a managed redirect and can change destination without reprinting, subject to plan limits. A hosted website does not require a dynamic QR code merely to edit its content. If you also create a Wallet card, a website-linked card requires Lite SME or Business; its QR opens the site in the phone browser, not as a website running inside Wallet. Neither QR type guarantees scanning on every device.
- Publish every page before generating the final code.
- Use a static URL QR when the site address will remain stable.
- Test the code on the devices and channels your visitors use.
6. Run a pre-publication check
Check the live site on a phone and a desktop browser. Follow every phone, email, WhatsApp, and external link from the final page. Confirm that the wording matches the destination, the gallery loads correctly, and the three-page structure still leads visitors to one clear contact action. Remove broken sample content before sharing.
Finally, distinguish product limits from services you offer independently. QREasy can host and publish the site, but native scheduling, inventory, payments, confirmations, and an enquiry inbox are not part of this website workflow. For another editorial walkthrough, read a practical guide to wedding organizer websites and use it as a second checklist.
- Test all actions from the published page.
- Confirm images and captions display on mobile.
- Check plan limits for premium sections and QR types.
- Scan the QR with more than one device when possible.
