Prepare what to link from the follow-up page
Start by listing every resource worth sharing after the event. Items to consider include session slides on a slide platform, photos on a gallery host, a session recording on a video host, and one link per sponsor you want to thank.
Before adding a link to your page, confirm with each provider how the link will be shared. Some hosts keep galleries unlisted, others require a passcode, and some make a folder public. QREasy only stores the link on your page; the access rules belong to the external host. If a recording or photo set is not ready yet, leave it out and add it later, since the same page address can serve updated content without reprinting.
Label each Links entry clearly
Clear labels save attendees from guessing. Each Links entry is a short name that points to an external page, so write it as if you were naming a bookmark. Include enough context in the label so attendees know where the link leads before they tap it, and keep the format consistent so the list is easy to scan.
Add a short Text note at the top of your page that explains each link opens an external site. This way attendees are not surprised when tapping a link leaves your QREasy page and lands on a different domain.
Pick a follow-up contact channel
A follow-up page is also where post-event questions can be sent. The Contact section can hold an email address, a phone number or a WhatsApp link. For an external form or scheduling page you already use, add it as a Links entry instead. Choose the channel you actually monitor, since questions you cannot reply to quickly will sit unanswered.
These entries open the relevant external channel rather than submit a message through your QREasy page. If your business uses a separate form or scheduling tool, link to it directly with a clear label so attendees know what to expect when they tap it.
Set up the page with the free event template
The free event template starts with editable Text, Links and Contact sections and is available on the Free plan with a limit of one page per website. If your event produced enough separate resources to need their own pages, such as a slide index, a sponsor directory and a recordings archive, a Lite SME or Business plan can add more pages per website. A paid plan can help when one page is too short for the resources you want to share.
Open the free event template and draft a one-page site with one Text section, a Links section and a Contact section. A fill-in example, ready to adapt:
Each item below is labelled with the section it belongs to. Replace each placeholder with your real link or address, then publish and copy the page address to include in your post-event message. If you want a printable reminder for the door or the room, generate a static URL QR from the page address using the public URL QR generator and download the image.
- Text 'Thank you for joining. Each link below opens an external site. Access rules for slides, photos and recordings depend on the host.'
- Links, Session slides [link to your slide deck]
- Links, Event photos [link to your gallery]
- Links, Session recording [link to your video]
- Links, Thanks to our sponsors [Sponsor name and link] (repeat per sponsor)
- Contact, Email [address]
- Contact, WhatsApp [number with country code]
Update as resources go live
Plan for one or two updates. A recording could become available after the event, photos may be added once they are ready, and sponsor thank-yous might follow when you are ready. Decide now which Text lines or Links entries you may want to swap.
Because your page is hosted at the same address, you can edit Text and Links and republish without sending a new link to attendees. The same web address keeps serving the latest version of your follow-up. A static URL QR printed on signage encodes that fixed address, so it keeps pointing to your page even as you update its contents; only the encoded URL itself would require reprinting.
